Ex-Fiancé's Revenge: A Steamy Encounter

**Chapter One: The Unfinished Symphony**

The sun dipped low over the city skyline, casting a golden glow through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Preeta's luxurious apartment. She lounged on her plush velvet sofa, a glass of red wine in hand, her mind drifting back to the days when her life was a whirlwind of passion and uncertainty. Married now to Karan, her life was stable, but the memories of her fiery past with Prithvi still stirred something deep within her.

A sudden knock at the door jolted her from her reverie. She set her glass down with a sigh, wondering who could be so bold as to interrupt her solitude. As she opened the door, her heart skipped a beat. There stood Prithvi, looking as charming and devilishly handsome as ever, a smirk playing on his lips.

"Well, well, if it isn't the ghost of relationships past," Preeta said, her voice laced with a mix of irritation and curiosity. "What brings you to my doorstep, unannounced and uninvited?"

Prithvi chuckled, stepping inside without waiting for an invitation. "I couldn't resist the allure of a temptress who can't resist a blast from the past," he teased, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

Preeta rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a smile as she led him to the living room. "You always did have a flair for the dramatic, Prithvi. Sit down, and let's see if you can still hold a conversation without trying to seduce me."

They settled on the sofa, and the air crackled with the electricity of their past. "So, what brings you here, really?" Preeta asked, her tone firm yet playful.

Prithvi leaned back, his gaze never leaving hers. "I was in the neighborhood and thought I'd see if the fire between us had completely died out."

Preeta laughed, her eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, Prithvi, you think you can just waltz back into my life and reignite old flames? You must be more delusional than I remembered."

He grinned, undeterred. "Remember that night in Paris, when we couldn't keep our hands off each other?"

She waved a dismissive hand, though her body language betrayed a hint of interest. "Paris was a lifetime ago, Prithvi. We were different people then."

He leaned closer, his voice dropping to a seductive whisper. "Some things never change, Preeta. The way you looked at me, the way you felt in my arms..."

Preeta leaned back, a smirk playing on her lips. "Prove it, then. Show me you still have what it takes to excite me."

Prithvi's eyes darkened with desire as he moved even closer, his breath warm against her ear. "Challenge accepted," he murmured, his hand reaching out to touch her.

With a playful swat, Preeta pushed his hand away, maintaining her control. "Not so fast, Prithvi. You'll have to do better than that."

She stood up, commanding the room with her presence. "Follow me if you dare," she said, her voice a sultry command as she led him towards the bedroom.

Once inside, Preeta turned to face him, her eyes burning with a mix of desire and defiance. "Well, Prithvi? What are you waiting for?"

Without another word, she pulled him into a deep, passionate kiss, signaling the beginning of their steamy encounter. The unfinished symphony of their past was about to reach a crescendo.
