Ex-Husband's Window: A Tale of Infertility, Revenge, and the Neighborhood's Loudest Pregnancy Announcement

Chapter One: The Peeping Ex

The sun shone brightly over Julia and Will's backyard, illuminating the faces of their family and neighbors as they gathered to celebrate. Amidst the laughter and joy, Julia, radiant at 28, and Will, handsome at 27, stood at the center of it all, basking in the warmth of the day and the love of their community.

Julia, her eyes sparkling with happiness, raised a hand to quiet the crowd. "I have an announcement to make," she said, her voice full of excitement. "Will and I are expecting a baby!"

The yard erupted in a chorus of congratulations and cheers, as Julia and Will beamed with pride. Amidst the celebration, however, a pair of eyes watched from afar. Julia's ex-husband, parked outside the house, couldn't tear his gaze away from the woman he had once called his own. A mix of jealousy and regret etched itself onto his face as he watched the love and joy between Julia and Will.

Julia, noticing her ex's car parked outside, couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She couldn't help but think, "look at you now, can't even take your eyes off me." She turned to Will, her new husband, and whispered a playful insult in his ear, "looks like our ex is still hung up on us, huh?"

Will, always the joker, replied with a wink, "well, who can blame him? You're the hottest pregnant woman I've ever seen."

Julia rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but laugh. She loved Will's sense of humor, it's one of the things that drew her to him in the first place. As the celebration continued, Julia's ex could only watch from afar, feeling like an outsider. He remembered the pain of their divorce, how he thought Julia was infertile and how he ended up getting his first love pregnant. He regretted his decision, wished he could turn back time and make things right with Julia.

Julia, sensing her ex's regret, turned to Will and said, "looks like our ex is finally realizing what he lost."

Will, always the protector, put his arm around Julia and said, "don't worry, Julia, I'll always make sure you're happy."

Julia, feeling loved and cherished, leaned into Will's embrace and whispered, "I know, Will. And that's why I love you."

As the celebration wound down, Julia's ex could only watch from afar, filled with regret. Julia, with a final playful insult, thought to herself, "looks like you're the infertile one now, aren't you?" The yard was emptying, but Julia and Will remained, surrounded by love and joy, while Julia's ex could only drive away, filled with longing for what he had lost.
