The Gryffindor Common Room was quiet, the only sound being the occasional crackle of the fire. Ginny Weasley lay in her four-poster bed, trying to fall asleep, but her mind was restless. She threw off her covers and climbed out of bed, deciding to find something to do.
As she made her way to the common room, she saw Harry Potter sitting at a table, surrounded by piles of Arithmancy books. She smiled to herself and walked over to him.
"Still studying, Potter?" she teased, ruffling his hair.
Harry looked up at her, a little self-conscious. "I can't help it, Ginny. I've been feeling a bit off lately, and I want to make sure it's nothing serious."
Ginny's expression softened. "Aw, you need someone to take care of you. Let me play doctor and diagnose you."
Harry raised an eyebrow. "You're offering to play doctor? I don't know if I should be scared or excited."
Ginny rummaged through her bag and pulled out a small medical kit. She put on a pair of glasses and a fake mustache, making Harry laugh.
"Alright, Potter, let's get started. First, I need to check your heartbeat." She placed her ear on his chest, and Harry felt a flutter in his heart.
Ginny moved on to his reflexes, playfully hitting his knee with a small hammer. Harry jumped, and Ginny laughed at his reaction.
"Next, I need to check your temperature." She winked at him and placed a thermometer in his mouth. "I hope you don't have a fever, or I might have to take drastic measures."
Harry felt his heart rate increase at the suggestive tone in her voice. "Ginny, I think you're enjoying this a little too much."
Ginny grinned. "Of course, I am. It's fun."
Harry asked Ginny to check his breathing, and she leaned in close, her lips barely an inch away from his. Harry felt his breath hitch.
Ginny noticed his reaction and smiled mischievously. "Open your mouth wider, Potter." She looked inside, her eyes twinkling with humor.
Ginny then moved on to Harry's ears, playfully tickling them with a feather. Harry giggled and swatted her hand away.
"Now, let me check your eyes." She shined a small flashlight in them, and Harry squinted. "Looks like you're seeing stars."
Ginny then asked Harry to stick out his tongue. She looked at it, and Harry felt a little self-conscious. Ginny reassured him, saying, "Don't worry, it's perfectly normal."
Ginny then asked Harry to lie down on the couch. She placed a pillow under his head and covered him with a blanket.
"I think you need a full body examination," she said, straddling him. Harry felt a jolt of electricity run through him.
Ginny, noticing Harry's reaction, smiled. She leaned down and whispered in his ear, "I think you're going to be just fine."
Ginny and Harry shared a playful, flirtatious moment. The tension between them was palpable, and they both knew that this was only the beginning.
