As they tiptoed through the underbrush, flashlights in hand, they heard a low growl, followed by a rustling in the bushes. Colin's grip on his flashlight tightened as he swung it towards the source of the sound.
"Bloody hell!" Dennis yelped as they came face-to-face with a snarling, monstrous creature. Harry Potter, their former Gryffindor housemate, stood before them in his werewolf form, eyes glowing with a primal hunger.
Colin and Dennis, not expecting this, tried to fight back with their flashlights, but Harry was too powerful. He overpowered the brothers and began to feast on their prey.
Colin, in a playful yet insulting tone, called out, "Hey, big bad wolf! How about you stop and talk for a bit?"
Harry, in between bites, tried to explain his newfound curse and how he couldn't control his actions. "I didn't want this, I didn't ask for this!" he pleaded.
Dennis, not one to back down, told Harry, "We'll find a way to break the curse, Potter. We'll help you."
Harry, taken aback by their bravery, began to regain control. Colin, noticing the change, suggested they all go back to Hogwarts and find a solution.
As they made their way back to Hogwarts, they came across the bodies of the creatures they had been feasting on. Colin, trying to lighten the mood, made a joke about how they'd have to "explain this one to McGonagall."
Harry, unable to laugh, apologized again for his actions and promised to make it right. Dennis, in a surprising move, hugged Harry and told him that they'd get through it together.
Colin, with a smirk, said, "Well, at least we'll have one hell of a story to tell" as they continued their journey back to Hogwarts. The three of them, bound by a shared secret, would face the challenges ahead with unwavering determination.
The night's events had brought them closer together, and they knew that no matter what, they would face the future as a team. And as they walked, the first glimmers of dawn began to break through the darkness, a symbol of the hope that lay ahead.
