That's when he stumbled upon the dinner party.
Colin and Dennis Creevey, two of Harry's biggest fans, were hosting a feast amongst the trees. Harry was hesitant to join at first, noticing the peculiar smell of the food. But Colin, with a playful glint in his eye, teased Harry.
"Harry, you're always so picky. Afraid you'll gain a pound?" Colin said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Harry didn't want to offend his friends, so he took a bite of the food. And immediately wished he hadn't. It was human flesh.
Dennis laughed at Harry's reaction. "Oh Harry, you should have seen your face! Priceless!"
Harry tried to remain calm, even as his mind raced with questions. Where did Colin and Dennis get the food? Colin, with a sly smile, only said "We have our ways, Harry. You should know that by now."
Harry felt uneasy and tried to leave, but Colin and Dennis insisted that he stays. Colin even grabbed Harry's arm, saying "Harry, don't be rude. We went through all this trouble for you. You can't just leave now."
Harry looked at his friends and realized that something was off. Their eyes were glowing and their teeth were sharp. Dennis sensed Harry's fear and said "Oh Harry, you didn't think we were just Colin and Dennis, did you? We're something more now."
Harry tried to run, but Colin and Dennis caught him. Colin held him down, saying "Harry, don't be afraid. This will only hurt for a moment."
And then Harry felt their sharp teeth on his skin. He screamed in pain as Dennis looked down at him and said "Harry, you should have joined us in our feast. Now you're the main course."
As Harry's consciousness faded, he thought "This isn't how I imagined my night ending. I should have known better than to trust Colin and Dennis."
