Fatal Ecstasy

Fatal Ecstasy

**Chapter 1: The Edge of Desire**

The air in Lila’s bedroom was thick with the scent of jasmine and anticipation. At sixteen, she was a force of nature—wild, untamed, and fiercely independent. Her dark hair spilled over her shoulders as she lounged on her bed, her sharp green eyes locked on her phone screen. She was texting Zane, the older guy from the wrong side of town who’d been sneaking into her thoughts—and her late-night fantasies—for weeks.

**Lila:** *You gonna keep me waiting all night, or are you actually showing up?*

**Zane:** *Patience, princess. I’m outside. Window’s open, right?*

**Lila:** *Don’t call me princess. And yeah, it’s open. Hurry up before I change my mind and find someone else to entertain me.*

She smirked, tossing her phone aside. Lila wasn’t the type to wait for anyone, but Zane had a way of getting under her skin. He was all rough edges and sly grins, the kind of guy who could make her heart race with a single look. She adjusted her tank top, the thin fabric clinging to her curves, and checked herself in the mirror. She wasn’t nervous—she didn’t do nervous. She was ready.

A soft thud at the window made her turn. Zane climbed through with the ease of someone who’d done this a hundred times, his leather jacket catching the moonlight. His gaze raked over her, slow and deliberate, and she felt a heat bloom low in her belly.

“Damn, Lila,” he drawled, shutting the window behind him. “You look like trouble tonight.”

She crossed her arms, tilting her head with a smirk. “I *am* trouble, Zane. Thought you knew that by now. Question is, can you handle it?”

He stepped closer, the space between them shrinking. His voice dropped, rough and teasing. “Oh, I can handle you. But can you keep up with me, or are you just all talk?”

Her laugh was sharp, cutting through the tension. “Keep up? Boy, I’ll leave you panting and begging for more. Don’t test me.”

Zane’s grin was wicked as he closed the distance, his hand brushing her hip. “Big words. Let’s see if you can back them up.”

Lila didn’t flinch. She grabbed the front of his jacket, pulling him in until their lips were inches apart. “I don’t make promises I can’t keep,” she whispered, her breath hot against his mouth. “You’re the one who’s gonna be sweating by the end of this.”

His eyes darkened, and she could feel the heat radiating off him, the hard press of his body against hers. “Fuck, Lila, you’re gonna be the death of me,” he muttered, his voice thick with want.

She smirked, her fingers trailing down his chest. “Maybe. But what a way to go, right?”

Their lips crashed together, hungry and fierce, a battle of wills as much as a kiss. Lila’s hands slid under his jacket, pushing it off his shoulders, while his fingers dug into her hips, pulling her closer. She could feel him, hard against her, and it sent a thrill through her, making her wet with anticipation. Her pussy ached as she ground against him, a silent challenge, daring him to take it further.

“Goddamn, you’re driving me crazy,” Zane growled, his lips moving to her neck, teeth grazing her skin.

“Good,” she shot back, her voice dripping with defiance. “I want you horny as hell. I want you dripping for me.”

His hands slid under her tank top, rough against her smooth skin, and she arched into his touch, her breath hitching. The room felt like it was spinning, the heat between them building to something explosive. She knew they were on the edge of something dangerous, something she couldn’t control—and she didn’t care. Lila was ready to burn.

And as Zane’s fingers dipped lower, teasing the waistband of her shorts, she felt her pulse spike, her body trembling with a need she’d never known. This was it. This was going to be a night neither of them would forget.
