Flower Child's Forbidden Fruit: My Consensual Conquest in the Underworld

Chapter One: The Truth Comes Out

The grand dining hall of the Olympian palace was a flurry of activity, with gods and goddesses milling about, their voices echoing off the marble walls. Amidst the chaos, Persephone, the light brown-haired goddess of spring, entered the room. Her light eyes scanned the room for her family, and she finally spotted her mother, Demeter, the goddess of harvest, sitting at the head of the table.

Persephone's heart fluttered as she approached her mother, taking a deep breath before sitting down beside her. Demeter immediately noticed her daughter's distant look and asked if everything was alright. Persephone hesitated, then decided to come clean.

"I have something to tell you, mother," she started, her voice barely above a whisper.

Demeter's face fell as Persephone revealed that she had been intimate with Hades, the god of the underworld. "He didn't force himself on me, mother," she confessed. "I was the one who initiated it."

Demeter's eyes widened in shock, then narrowed in disapproval. "A flower child like you, in the underworld?" she scoffed.

Persephone explained the arrangement made by Zeus, that she must spend six months in the underworld and six months on Olympus. Demeter shook her head, "I can't believe you would do such a thing, Persephone. You're better than that."

Persephone felt a sting of anger at her mother's words. "I'm not just a 'flower child', mother. I'm a goddess, just like you."

Demeter looked taken aback by Persephone's directness but then softened. "I just want what's best for you, my dear."

Persephone reached out and took her mother's hand. "I know, mother. And I want what's best for me too. And that includes Hades."

Demeter sighed, "I suppose I can't change your mind. But promise me you'll be careful down there."

Persephone smiled, "I will, mother. I promise."

Demeter's eyes searched her daughter's face, looking for any sign of doubt or fear. But Persephone's gaze was steady, her resolve unwavering.

"Very well," Demeter finally said, her voice heavy with resignation. "But know that I will always be here for you, no matter what."

Persephone leaned in and kissed her mother on the cheek. "Thank you, mother. I love you."

Demeter smiled, "I love you too, my dear."

As the night wore on, the conversation turned to lighter topics, but Persephone couldn't help but feel a sense of relief and excitement. She was no longer hiding a secret, and she was free to embrace her love for Hades. She couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.
