Forbidden Cheers

Forbidden Cheers

Chapter 1: The Locker Room Whisper

The fluorescent lights of Westview High flickered above the empty hallway as Mia, the head cheerleader with a razor-sharp tongue and legs that could stop traffic, strutted toward the locker room after practice. Her crimson uniform clung to her sweat-slicked skin, accentuating every curve of her toned body. She knew she was untouchable—queen of the social hierarchy, a force of nature. But there was one person who could unravel her in an instant, and he was waiting for her behind those chipped blue doors.

Ethan, her younger brother by a year, was the school’s resident nobody. Lanky, awkward, and perpetually buried in a comic book, he was the antithesis of Mia’s polished perfection. Yet, beneath the loser label, there was a fire in him—a secret only Mia knew. Their forbidden connection had started as a game, a dare in the shadows of their shared home, but it had spiraled into something neither could resist.

Mia pushed open the locker room door, her sneakers squeaking on the tiled floor. Ethan was there, leaning against a row of lockers, his hoodie half-zipped, revealing a surprising hint of muscle beneath. His dark eyes locked on hers, a smirk playing on his lips.

‘Took you long enough, princess,’ he drawled, pushing off the locker with a casual swagger that belied his reputation. ‘Thought you’d leave me waiting all night.’

Mia tossed her ponytail over her shoulder, her gaze cutting like a blade. ‘Keep dreaming, nerd. I’ve got better things to do than babysit you. What’s the emergency?’

Ethan stepped closer, his voice dropping to a husky whisper. ‘No emergency. Just couldn’t stop thinking about last night. You, me, that couch...’ He let the words hang, heavy with implication.

Mia’s breath hitched, but she masked it with a scoff. ‘Oh, please. You’re obsessed. I’m not some trophy for your pathetic fantasies.’ She crossed her arms, pushing her chest out defiantly, though her eyes betrayed a flicker of heat.

‘Pathetic?’ Ethan chuckled, closing the distance until their bodies were inches apart. The air crackled between them. ‘Says the girl who was begging for more. Don’t play coy, Mia. I know what you want.’

Her lips curled into a dangerous smile. ‘You think you’ve got me figured out? Big mistake, little brother. I call the shots.’ She shoved him back against the lockers, her hands firm on his chest, but her touch lingered just a second too long.

Ethan’s smirk widened. ‘Then call them. Tell me to stop.’ His hands slid to her hips, pulling her closer until she could feel the heat radiating off him. ‘Or don’t. Your choice.’

Mia’s eyes darkened with a mix of defiance and desire. ‘You’re insufferable,’ she hissed, but her body betrayed her, pressing against him, her breath quickening. ‘You think you can handle me?’

‘I’ve handled you plenty,’ he shot back, his voice rough with want. ‘And I’m ready for more.’

Her nails dug into his shoulders as she leaned in, her lips brushing his ear. ‘Prove it, then. Right here. Right now.’

Their mouths crashed together, hungry and desperate, the taste of forbidden lust igniting between them. Mia’s hands roamed under his hoodie, tracing the hard lines of his chest, while Ethan’s fingers gripped her ass, pulling her tighter against him. She could feel him, already hard, pressing into her through the thin fabric of her cheer skirt, and it made her wet with anticipation. Their panting filled the empty room, the risk of getting caught only fueling their fire.

‘God, you’re such a tease,’ Ethan growled against her neck, his teeth grazing her skin as she arched into him.

‘And you’re a horny little bastard,’ Mia fired back, her voice dripping with challenge. ‘But I’m not complaining... yet.’

Their clothes were a barrier they couldn’t shed fast enough, the urgency building as they stumbled toward the bench, ready to explode into something raw and unstoppable.
