Forbidden Confessions

Chapter 1: The Truth Unraveled

I sat across from Angel in our dimly lit apartment, the air thick with tension and the faint scent of jasmine from her perfume. Her almond-shaped eyes, usually so full of mischief, now held a storm of guilt and defiance. My heart thudded in my chest, not just from anger, but from the twisted curiosity that gnawed at me. She had cheated. With my dad. And now, she was about to spill every damn detail.

'So, spill it, Angel,' I said, my voice low, a mix of hurt and intrigue. 'How the hell did this even happen? My dad? Really?'

She leaned forward, her black hair cascading over her shoulder, a smirk playing on her lips despite the gravity of the moment. 'Oh, come on, Jake. Don’t act like you’re not dying to know. It wasn’t planned, if that’s what you’re thinking. It just… happened. At the barbecue last month. You were off getting beers, and he was by the grill, all sweaty and commanding. I couldn’t help but notice.'

I clenched my jaw, picturing it. My dad, the silver fox with a charm that could melt anyone, and Angel, my fierce, untamable girlfriend who never backed down from a challenge. 'Notice what, exactly?' I pressed, my tone sharp as a blade.

Her eyes gleamed with a wicked edge. 'How he looked at me, Jake. Like I was the only woman there. He didn’t say much at first, just handed me a plate of ribs with this… intensity. Then he leaned in, whispered something about how I deserved better than a guy who leaves his girl alone at a party. It was a jab at you, sure, but damn, it hit me hard.'

I scoffed, leaning back in my chair, trying to mask the heat creeping up my neck. 'So, what, you just fell for his cheap lines? You’re not some damsel, Angel. You’re a goddamn hurricane.'

She laughed, a throaty sound that sent a shiver down my spine. 'Exactly. I don’t fall for anything. I take what I want. And that day, I wanted to see how far he’d go. So I played along, teased him about being all talk. Next thing I know, we’re behind the shed, away from prying eyes, and his hands are on me, rough and sure, like he’s been waiting for it.'

My breath hitched. I hated how her words painted such a vivid picture, hated how a part of me was getting off on the betrayal. 'Keep going,' I muttered, almost against my will.

Angel’s smirk widened, sensing my conflict. 'Oh, you want the dirty details, huh? Fine. He pushed me against the wall, his breath hot on my neck, telling me how he’d been watching me for months. I could feel how hard he was through his jeans, pressing into me. I didn’t push him away, Jake. I grabbed him, pulled him closer, and told him to show me what he’s got. And let me tell you, your dad doesn’t disappoint.'

Her words hung in the air, charged and electric. My mind raced, torn between rage and a dark, primal curiosity. I could see it—her, fierce and unapologetic, taking control even in her betrayal. My hands gripped the arms of the chair, knuckles white, as I stared into her unflinching gaze.

'Angel,' I growled, standing up, the space between us shrinking. 'You’re playing a dangerous game telling me this.'

She rose too, stepping closer, her body inches from mine, heat radiating off her. 'Maybe I am. But you’re still here, listening, getting all worked up. So what are you gonna do about it, Jake? Yell at me? Or are you gonna take what’s yours and remind me why I’m with you in the first place?'

Her challenge hit me like a punch, and before I could think, my hands were on her hips, pulling her against me. Her breath caught, but her eyes burned with defiance and desire. I could feel the tension coiling tight, her body pressed to mine, and I knew this was about to explode. My lips hovered over hers, the air crackling as I whispered, 'You’re gonna regret telling me every word.'

And just like that, we were a storm waiting to break, her fingers digging into my shoulders, my pulse racing with a mix of anger and raw, undeniable need.
