Forbidden Examination

Forbidden Examination

**Chapter 1: The Unexpected Appointment**

Dr. Ethan Caldwell adjusted his crisp white coat, the sterile scent of antiseptic lingering in his private clinic as he prepared for his next patient. At 34, he was a renowned gynecologist, known for his steady hands and sharp mind. But nothing could have prepared him for the name on his schedule today: Lila Caldwell. His younger sister.

The door swung open, and there she was—Lila, 29, with her fiery auburn hair cascading over her shoulders, her emerald eyes glinting with a mix of mischief and defiance. She wore a tight black dress that hugged every curve, completely inappropriate for a medical visit, and she knew it. Ethan’s jaw tightened as he fought to maintain his professional demeanor.

“Well, well, big brother,” Lila purred, sauntering in and perching on the examination table, crossing her legs with deliberate slowness. “Didn’t think I’d ever be spreading my legs for you in a place like this.”

Ethan’s fingers clenched around his clipboard, his voice low and controlled. “Lila, what the hell are you doing here? This isn’t a game. If you need a check-up, I can refer you to someone else.”

She smirked, leaning forward, her cleavage teasingly on display. “Oh, come on, Ethan. I trust you. Who better to poke around down there than family? Besides, I’ve got... concerns. And I’m not shy. Are you?”

He exhaled sharply, his cool blue eyes narrowing. “I’m a professional. If you’re serious, we’ll keep this strictly clinical. No nonsense.”

Lila tilted her head, her tone dripping with challenge. “Strictly clinical? We’ll see how long that lasts when you’ve got your hands on me. Bet you’ve forgotten how to blush, huh?”

Ethan set the clipboard down with a thud, stepping closer, his presence commanding. “Keep talking like that, and I’ll have you out of here faster than you can say ‘inappropriate.’ Lie back. Let’s get this over with.”

She complied, but not without a wicked grin, reclining on the table as her dress rode up her thighs. “Fine, Doctor. But don’t pretend you’re not curious. I’ve seen the way you look at me at family dinners. Like you’re diagnosing more than my health.”

His hands paused mid-air, gloved and ready, as he shot her a glare. “Lila, I’m warning you. One more word, and this ends.”

“Make me shut up then,” she taunted, her voice husky, her gaze locking with his. The air between them crackled, charged with a forbidden heat neither could ignore. Ethan’s resolve wavered as he positioned himself at the edge of the table, his breath hitching despite himself.

As his fingers brushed against her skin to adjust her position, a jolt shot through him—her warmth, her scent, the sheer audacity of her presence. Lila’s lips parted, a soft gasp escaping as she watched him, daring him to cross the line. “Careful, brother,” she whispered. “You might find something you can’t diagnose.”

The tension snapped like a taut wire. Ethan’s voice dropped to a growl. “You’re playing with fire, Lila.”

“Good,” she shot back, her eyes blazing. “I like it hot.”

His hands hesitated, hovering just above her, the room shrinking to the space between them. Every professional boundary screamed at him to stop, but the pull was undeniable. Her challenge hung heavy, and as their eyes locked, the promise of something explosive loomed—something raw, something wrong, something they both craved.
