She laughed, a sound that sent a shiver down his spine. “Hooked, are you? Careful, kid. I’m not some sweet little thing you can play with. I bite back.”
Jayden grinned, closing the distance between them. “Good. I like a fight. Makes the victory sweeter.”
Neha stood, her height nearly matching his, her gaze piercing. “Oh, you think you’ve won already? You’ve got a lot to learn, bhanja.” Her use of the familial term was deliberate, laced with mockery and a dangerous edge that only fueled his fire.
He reached out, his fingers brushing against the smooth fabric of her nightgown, feeling the heat of her skin beneath. “Then teach me, Mami. I’m a quick learner.”
Her smirk widened as she grabbed his wrist, pulling him closer until their bodies were pressed together. “You’ve got a mouth on you, don’t you? Let’s see if it’s good for more than just talking.”
Before he could retort, her lips crashed into his, fierce and demanding. The kiss was a battle of wills, tongues clashing, teeth grazing, as if they were trying to consume each other. Jayden’s hands roamed her back, gripping her firm curves, while Neha’s fingers tangled in his hair, pulling just hard enough to make him groan into her mouth. “You’re trouble,” she panted, breaking the kiss to nip at his jawline, her breath hot against his skin. “But damn, I love trouble.”
“And I love how you take control,” he shot back, his voice rough with need. “But I’m not just here to follow orders, Neha. I want to make you lose it.”
Her eyes flashed with something wild as she pushed him back onto the bed, straddling his hips with a predatory grace. “Lose it? Oh, Jayden, you’ve got no idea what you’re asking for. But I’m gonna show you.”
His hands slid up her thighs, feeling the heat radiating from her, and he knew they were teetering on the edge of something explosive. The air between them was charged, thick with anticipation, and as her nightgown rode up, revealing more of her, he felt himself growing hard, aching for her. Neha’s smirk returned, her fingers tracing down his chest, teasing, taunting.
“Ready to play with fire?” she whispered, her voice a seductive growl, as she leaned down, her lips hovering just above his.
Jayden’s response was a low, hungry growl of his own. “Burn me, Neha. I’m all yours.”
