Chapter 1: Temptation Ignites
The summer heat clung to Jiang Ming’s house like a lover’s desperate embrace, the air thick with unspoken tension. Jiang Ming, a lean and brooding 22-year-old with sharp cheekbones and a devil-may-care smirk, lounged on the couch, his t-shirt riding up just enough to reveal a sliver of toned abdomen. Xue’er, his childhood friend and current houseguest, sat across from him, her long legs crossed with deliberate precision. At 21, Xue’er was a force of nature—fiery, confident, and unapologetically bold, with dark eyes that could pierce through any façade.
Their parents had left them alone for the weekend, trusting them to ‘look after each other.’ A laughable notion, considering the electric charge that had been building between them for years. Xue’er sipped her iced tea, her gaze flicking over Jiang Ming with a predatory edge. ‘So, Ming, what’s the plan? Bore me to death with your brooding, or are we gonna make this weekend interesting?’ Her voice was a low purr, dripping with challenge.
Jiang Ming raised an eyebrow, his smirk widening. ‘Careful, Xue’er. Keep talking like that, and I might think you’re flirting. Wouldn’t want to cross any lines, would we?’ His tone was teasing, but his eyes darkened with something dangerous, something hungry.
Xue’er laughed, a sharp, melodic sound that cut through the humid air. ‘Lines? Sweetheart, I draw my own. And right now, I’m thinking you’re all talk and no action.’ She uncrossed her legs, leaning forward, her tank top dipping just enough to hint at the curves beneath. ‘Prove me wrong.’
Jiang Ming’s jaw tightened, his casual demeanor slipping for a split second as he felt a stir below the belt. He stood, crossing the room in a few lazy strides, towering over her. ‘You’re playing a risky game, Xue’er. I don’t back down from a challenge.’
‘Good,’ she shot back, standing to meet him, her chest brushing against his as she tilted her chin up defiantly. ‘Because I don’t lose.’ Her breath was hot against his skin, and before he could retort, her eyes flicked downward, catching a glimpse of the impressive bulge straining against his shorts. A wicked grin spread across her face. ‘Well, damn, Ming. Hiding a weapon like that? I’m almost impressed.’
His cheeks flushed, but he didn’t flinch. ‘Keep staring, and you might get more than you bargained for.’
‘Oh, I’m counting on it,’ Xue’er murmured, her voice husky now, her hand brushing against his thigh as if by accident. The contact sent a jolt through him, and she felt it too—the heat, the raw need. She didn’t pull back. Instead, she stepped closer, her lips hovering near his ear. ‘I’m not some shy little girl, Ming. If I want something, I take it. Question is, can you handle me?’
Jiang Ming’s breath hitched, his hands itching to grab her, to feel every inch of her. ‘Try me,’ he growled, his voice rough with desire.
Without another word, Xue’er’s fingers curled into his shirt, yanking him down into a searing kiss. Their mouths crashed together, all teeth and tongue, a battle for dominance neither was willing to lose. Her hands roamed, bold and unapologetic, sliding down to grip his ass, pulling him against her so she could feel just how hard he was. ‘Fuck, Ming,’ she gasped between kisses, her voice dripping with lust. ‘You’re already this worked up? I’ve barely started.’
His hands found her hips, gripping tight as he ground against her, letting her feel every inch of his cock through the thin fabric. ‘Keep talking, Xue’er. I’m gonna make you beg for it.’
She laughed against his lips, sharp and daring. ‘Beg? Baby, I don’t beg. I demand.’ And with that, she dropped to her knees, her eyes locked on his as she tugged at his shorts, ready to unleash the heat she’d been craving. The room was already thick with the scent of their desire, their panting breaths mingling as the promise of something explosive hung in the air.
