Forbidden Heat at the Birthday Bash

Forbidden Heat at the Birthday Bash

Chapter 1: The Spark Ignites

The backyard of the modest suburban house pulsed with the thrum of a rented speaker, blasting pop hits into the warm summer evening. Eighteen-year-old Ethan leaned against the fence, a lukewarm soda in hand, watching the chaos of his younger brother Jake’s girlfriend’s birthday party unfold. Balloons bobbed lazily in the breeze, and a gaggle of teens shrieked over a game of beer pong. But Ethan’s eyes weren’t on the game—they were locked on Mia, the birthday girl herself.

Mia was a vision in a tight red sundress that hugged every curve of her athletic frame, her dark hair spilling over her shoulders as she laughed with a group of friends. At seventeen, she was fierce, confident, and utterly untouchable—or so Ethan had thought until their eyes met across the yard. Her gaze lingered, a smirk playing on her lips before she turned away, leaving a heat in his chest he couldn’t ignore. She knew he was watching. And she liked it.

Ethan pushed off the fence, weaving through the crowd until he found her by the dessert table, piling a plate with cupcakes. 'So, birthday girl,' he drawled, voice low and teasing, 'you gonna save a dance for the guy who’s been staring at you all night, or do I have to beg?'

Mia’s hazel eyes flicked up, sharp and amused. 'Begging might be fun to watch, Ethan. But I don’t dance with just anyone. You think you’ve got the moves to keep up with me?'

He grinned, stepping closer, the scent of her vanilla perfume hitting him like a punch. 'Oh, I’ve got moves, Mia. Ones you haven’t even dreamed of. Question is, are you brave enough to find out?'

She popped a bit of frosting into her mouth, licking her lips deliberately, her gaze never wavering. 'Brave? Sweetheart, I’m the one who decides who gets close. And right now, you’re just Jake’s big brother playing at being bad. Convince me you’re worth my time.'

Ethan’s pulse raced, but he kept his cool, leaning in until their faces were inches apart. 'How about we ditch the cupcakes and find somewhere quieter? I’ll show you exactly how bad I can be.'

Mia’s laugh was a sultry challenge. 'Big talk. Fine. Back shed, five minutes. Don’t keep me waiting, or I’ll find someone else to entertain me.' She turned on her heel, her dress swishing against her thighs as she sauntered off, leaving Ethan’s heart hammering.

Five minutes later, the shed door creaked open, and there she was, leaning against a stack of old boxes, arms crossed, a wicked glint in her eye. The air was thick with the scent of dust and anticipation. 'Took you long enough,' she purred. 'Thought you’d chickened out.'

'Not a chance,' Ethan shot back, closing the distance between them. 'I’m here to give you the best damn birthday present you’ve ever had.'

Her lips curled into a smirk as she uncrossed her arms, stepping forward until their bodies nearly touched. 'Prove it, then. I’m not some shy little thing, Ethan. I want hard, fast, and unforgettable. Think you can handle that?'

His hands found her hips, pulling her against him, feeling the heat of her through that thin red dress. 'Oh, I can handle it, Mia. I’m already hard just thinking about how wet you’re gonna be for me.'

Her breath hitched, but her eyes burned with defiance. 'Keep talking like that, and I’ll have you panting before you even get started. Now shut up and show me.'

Their lips crashed together, hungry and fierce, her nails digging into his shoulders as his hands roamed down to grip her ass, pulling her tighter against him. She moaned into his mouth, her body arching, already dripping with need. The tension was electric, building to an explosive edge as they stumbled back against the wall, ready to unleash everything they’d been holding back.
