The air in the imperial chamber was thick with tension, a heady mix of jasmine incense and unspoken desire. Lý Long Cơ, the Emperor of the realm, stood towering over Trương Đạo Chính, his piercing gaze pinning the younger man in place. The silk of Đạo Chính’s robe clung to his lithe frame, the deep emerald hue accentuating the sharp lines of his jaw and the mischievous glint in his eyes. His hair, parted perfectly in a 5/5 split, framed his face like a work of art—a forbidden masterpiece in the Emperor’s private gallery.

Lý Long Cơ’s lips curled into a predatory smirk as he stepped closer, one hand gripping Đạo Chính’s slender waist with possessive force, the other sliding under his thighs. In a swift motion, he hoisted the man up, eliciting a sharp gasp from Đạo Chính’s parted lips. The Emperor’s strength was undeniable, his grip unyielding as he carried him to the massive, dragon-carved bed draped in crimson silk.

‘Well then,’ Lý Long Cơ’s voice rumbled, low and husky, laced with dark amusement. ‘I shall pass judgment on you right here. For the crime of evading my sacred presence, for tormenting me with thoughts of you all day, and for daring to use that wicked mouth to stir chaos in my court… Each sin, I will tally and punish.’

Đạo Chính’s cheeks flushed a deep scarlet, but his eyes sparkled with defiance and allure. He bit his lower lip, a gesture that only fueled the Emperor’s hunger, yet his voice held a teasing edge as he tilted his head. ‘Then… this humble servant submits to Your Majesty’s verdict. But I beg of you, my lord… show a sliver of mercy.’

‘Mercy?’ Lý Long Cơ chuckled, a sound that vibrated through the room like thunder before a storm. He leaned down, his breath hot against Đạo Chính’s ear, sending shivers down the younger man’s spine. ‘You’ll find no mercy here, only the weight of my desire. You’ve played your games long enough, little fox. Now, you’ll bear the consequences.’

Đạo Chính’s lips parted in a mock protest, but the fire in his eyes betrayed him. ‘And if I resist, Your Majesty? Will you chain me to this bed to ensure my compliance?’

The Emperor’s grin widened, dangerous and intoxicating. ‘Resist all you like. It only makes the hunt sweeter.’ With that, he pressed Đạo Chính down against the silken sheets, his broad frame caging the smaller man beneath him. ‘You think you can toy with an Emperor and walk away unscathed?’ Lý Long Cơ growled, his fingers tracing dangerous patterns, inching higher. ‘I’ll have you trembling before I’m through.’

Đạo Chính arched beneath the touch, his breath hitching, but his voice remained sharp, cutting through the haze of lust. ‘Trembling? Hah! I’ve faced worse than a horny dragon in my day. Do your worst, my lord.’

That taunt snapped something in Lý Long Cơ. His eyes darkened, and with a swift motion, he tore at the sash binding Đạo Chính’s robe, the fabric parting to reveal the man’s toned chest, already glistening with the first sheen of sweat. The Emperor’s own robe hung loose, his hard, muscled form looming as he pressed himself against Đạo Chính, the heat of their bodies igniting the air.

‘Bold words,’ Lý Long Cơ hissed, his lips brushing against Đạo Chính’s collarbone, trailing lower with predatory intent. ‘Let’s see if that sharp tongue of yours holds up when I’ve got you panting and dripping for me.’

Đạo Chính’s retort was cut off by a gasp as the Emperor’s mouth found its mark, and the room filled with the sound of their mingled breaths, the promise of something raw and explosive hanging heavy between them. Outside, the palace maids lingered just beyond the door, catching fragments of husky laughter and ambiguous moans, their faces burning as they scurried away, knowing full well the imperial bed would bear witness to a night of unrelenting passion.
