Forbidden Lessons

**Chapter 1: The Verdict of Desire**

The air in the living room was thick with tension, a storm brewing in the eyes of my father as he slapped the report card down on the coffee table. 'Cheating, Lila? Really? I raised you better than this!' His voice boomed, echoing off the walls of our suburban fortress. I stood there, arms crossed, my jaw set tight. I wasn’t about to let him see me crumble, even if my heart was racing with the sting of failure.

'Maybe if your precious school wasn’t a glorified prison, I wouldn’t have to find shortcuts,' I shot back, my tone dripping with defiance. My dark hair fell over one shoulder as I tilted my head, daring him to counter. At twenty-one, I wasn’t a child anymore, and I’d be damned if I let him treat me like one.

Before he could unleash another tirade, the door swung open, and in walked my mother, Claire, with my older brother, Ethan, trailing behind. Mom’s sharp green eyes scanned the scene, her lips pursing in that way that meant she was already three steps ahead of everyone else. 'What’s this about cheating?' she asked, her voice cool and measured, cutting through Dad’s anger like a blade.

'Lila thought she could game the system,' Dad growled, pointing at the offending piece of paper. 'She’s grounded. Extra chores. No phone, no friends, nothing until I see some damn responsibility.'

Mom raised a perfectly arched brow, stepping closer to me. She was a force—tall, confident, with a presence that could command a room without a single shout. 'Grounding her won’t fix the problem, Mark,' she said, her gaze locking onto mine. 'What Lila needs is focus. Discipline of the mind, not just the body. I’ve arranged for a tutor. Someone who’ll drill her until she gets it right.' Her lips twitched into a smirk at the double entendre, and I couldn’t help but roll my eyes, even as a spark of curiosity ignited in me.

Ethan, leaning against the doorway with his usual cocky grin, chimed in. 'Oh, I bet she’ll love being drilled. Right, sis?' His tone was teasing, but there was a glint in his hazel eyes that made my skin prickle. He was always pushing boundaries, testing how far he could go before I snapped.

'Keep dreaming, Ethan,' I fired back, my voice laced with a challenge. 'I’d rather eat glass than let anyone think they can break me.' But even as I said it, I felt a heat creeping up my neck, a dangerous curiosity about this tutor Mom had lined up. Who was this person who was supposed to ‘drill’ me into shape?

Mom stepped closer, her hand brushing my arm with a touch that was both firm and electric. 'You’ll meet him tomorrow, Lila. And trust me, he’s not the kind of man you can charm or outsmart. He’ll push you. Hard.' Her emphasis on that last word sent a shiver down my spine, and I hated how my body reacted, a subtle warmth blooming between my thighs.

'Fine,' I said, lifting my chin. 'Let him try. I don’t break easy.'

That night, as I lay in bed, the house silent except for the distant hum of the city outside, my mind wouldn’t stop racing. Who was this tutor? Why did Mom’s words linger like a promise—or a threat? I tossed under the sheets, my skin flushed, imagining a man who could match my fire, someone who wouldn’t back down from my sharp tongue. My fingers trailed down my stomach, teasing the edge of my panties as I pictured him—faceless for now, but commanding, intense. I could almost feel his gaze on me, burning through my defenses, making me wet with just a look.

Tomorrow, I’d meet him. And I’d be ready. Not just for lessons, but for whatever game he thought he could play. I wasn’t some damsel to be tamed—I was a storm waiting to unleash. And as my breath quickened, my fingers dipping lower, I knew one thing for sure: this tutor was about to learn just how hard I could push back.
