Reed was lounging on her couch, engrossed in a novel when the gentle knock on her door startled her. She marked her place with a finger and sighed, knowing very well who it was even before she opened the door.
Noah, her 24-year-old neighbor, stood in the doorway, looking as charming as ever. "Hey Reed, what's up?" he asked, trying to play it cool.
Reed rolled her eyes, unable to hide her annoyance. "What do you want, Noah?" she asked, her voice laced with sarcasm. But despite her irritation, she couldn't deny the spark that ignited between them every time they were in the same room.
Noah hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Wanna watch a movie with me? I've got this new action flick that I think you'll like."
Reed raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Fine," she said, stepping aside to let him in. "But don't get any ideas."
Noah grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Wouldn't dream of it," he said, following her into the living room.
As they watched the movie, Reed couldn't help but notice how Noah's arm was resting on the back of the couch, close to her. She leaned in, testing the waters, and was pleased when Noah didn't pull away. Instead, he looked at her, his gaze intense and full of longing.
Without a word, Reed leaned in and kissed him. The kiss was passionate and full of desire, and Reed couldn't help but feel a sense of power as she took the lead. Noah, surprised but loving it, let her take control, his hands resting gently on her hips.
The kissing quickly turned into more as they moved to Reed's bedroom. Noah tried to take control, but Reed wasn't having it. She pushed him back onto the bed and straddled him, her lips never leaving his.

Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door. It was Cami and Zaya, Noah's best friends. Reed quickly pushed Noah off of her and they both scrambled to get dressed.
Cami and Zaya walked in, completely unaware of what just happened. They started talking about their day, completely oblivious to the tension in the room.
Reed, feeling embarrassed, tried to play it cool. Noah, still trying to catch his breath, joined in the conversation.
Cami, noticing the awkwardness, made a playful insult about Noah and Reed's "secret rendezvous." Reed shot her a glare, but couldn't help but laugh.
Zaya, not wanting to be left out, made her own playful insult about Noah not being able to handle Reed. Noah, trying to save face, shot back a playful insult of his own.
The tension in the room eases as they all laugh and continue to talk. Reed, feeling more comfortable, starts to open up to Cami and Zaya about her feelings for Noah.
Cami and Zaya, being the good friends they are, give Reed their approval and tell her to go for it. Reed, feeling empowered, smiles at Noah.
Just as things are starting to heat up again, there's another knock on the door. It's Mark, their landlord. Reed and Noah quickly say their goodbyes to Cami and Zaya and rush to answer the door.
Mark, completely unaware of what just happened, starts talking about a leaky faucet in Noah's apartment. Reed and Noah, still trying to catch their breath, listen and nod, trying to act normal.
