Freaknic Flashback: When the Gods Got Groovy and Got It On

Chapter One: The Documentary He Never Should Have Watched

The grand hall of Mount Olympus was alive with the chatter of gods and goddesses, their voices echoing off the marble walls. Among them sat Brigette, the goddess of fun and joy, her light pink hair shimmering in the ethereal light. She was in the midst of a casual conversation, her dark eyes sparkling with mischief.

"Brigette, my dear, you simply must tell us the story of how you tamed the wild stallion of the west!" one of the gods exclaimed.

Brigette laughed, her voice musical. "Oh, that was ages ago. I'm sure you all have much more exciting tales to tell."

Just then, her son Solace approached the group. He had curly blonde hair and blue eyes that mirrored his mother's. "Hey mom, have you ever heard of Freaknic?" he asked, his voice filled with innocent curiosity.

The hall fell silent as all the gods and goddesses stared at Solace, taken aback by his question. Brigette stuttered as she tried to find the right words to respond. "Y-yes, once or twice. Why do you ask?"

"Apparently, Hulu is making a documentary about it from 1994. I'm going to go watch it," Solace said, before turning around and leaving the hall.

Brigette watched her son leave with a sinking feeling in her stomach. "Wait, I don't think you should-" she called out, but it was too late. She turned to the other gods and goddesses with a worried expression. "Our kids are never going to look at us the same after watching that," she said, her voice filled with dread.

The gods and goddesses all nodded in agreement, knowing that the documentary would reveal their wild and carefree pasts. Brigette's mind began to wander as she imagined the reactions of her son and the other teenage demigods - Persephone and Hades' twins Nico and Bianca, Aphrodite and Hephaestus' kids Leo and Piper, Dionysus' daughter Nicole, and Hera and Zeus' daughter Elizabeth.

She remembered the wild parties, the drinking, the sex, and the smoking that took place during Freaknic. She knew that the documentary would expose all of that. Brigette sighed, knowing that there was nothing she could do to stop Solace from watching it. She could only hope that the documentary wouldn't change the way her son saw her.

The other gods and goddesses began to disperse, leaving Brigette alone in the hall. She remained seated, lost in thought. She couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for the wild days of Freaknic. She remembered the freedom and the joy that came with it.

But she also knew that those days were long gone. She was a mother now, and her responsibilities lay with her children. She could only hope that they would understand and forgive her for her past indiscretions.

As she sat there, she couldn't help but wonder what Solace would think of her when he saw the documentary. Would he still see her as his mother, or would he see her as the wild and carefree goddess she once was?

Brigette shook her head, trying to dispel the negative thoughts. She knew that she couldn't change the past, but she could make sure that her children saw her for who she was now - a loving and devoted mother.

She stood up and took a deep breath, before making her way out of the grand hall. She had a feeling that the next few days would be interesting, to say the least.

As she walked through the halls of Mount Olympus, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She knew that the documentary would change everything, but she also knew that she had to face it head on.

She would talk to Solace, and explain her past actions. She would make sure that he understood that she was a different person now. She would make sure that he saw her for who she really was - a goddess of fun and joy, but also a loving and devoted mother.

Brigette squared her shoulders and took a deep breath. She was ready to face whatever came her way. She was a goddess, after all. She could handle anything.
