Fry's Unexpected Delivery: A Uterine Comedy

### Chapter One: A Bun in the Oven

In the heart of the city, where the skyline kissed the clouds, Ava sat in her sleek, modern kitchen. The morning light filtered through the large windows, casting a soft glow over her as she sipped her coffee and swiped through the news on her tablet. The world outside buzzed with the usual cacophony of urban life, but inside, Ava's world was one of calm and control.

The tranquility was shattered by the entrance of Lisa, her roommate and the queen of sass. Lisa sauntered in, her eyes immediately locking onto Ava's figure. "Well, well, well, looks like someone's been hitting the bakery a bit too hard," she teased, eyeing Ava's midsection with a mischievous grin.

Ava rolled her eyes, setting her tablet down with a smirk. "Oh, please. It's just a little extra love handle. Besides, who needs abs when you've got brains?"

Lisa laughed, leaning against the counter. "Sure, sure. But you know what they say, a little extra weight can mean a little extra... surprise." She waggled her eyebrows suggestively.

Ava paused, the coffee cup halfway to her lips. Her brows furrowed as she counted back the months. "Shit. Lisa, I haven't had my period in... ages."

Lisa's eyes widened, and she clapped her hands together with glee. "Oh, this is happening! We're going to the pharmacy, right now. No ifs, ands, or buts!"

Before Ava could protest, Lisa had grabbed her hand and was dragging her out of the apartment. The city streets were a blur as they made their way to the nearest pharmacy, Lisa's excitement palpable.

At the pharmacy, Ava scanned the shelves, finally picking up the most expensive pregnancy test. "If I'm going to be a mom, I might as well start splurging now," she quipped, tossing the box into their basket.

Back at the apartment, Ava disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Lisa to pace the hallway, throwing out guesses about the potential father. "Could it be that hot bartender from last month? Or maybe the guy from the gym? Oh, what about that mysterious stranger from the book club?"

Ava emerged from the bathroom, her face a mask of shock as she held up the test. Two lines. Positive.

Lisa's eyes widened, and she rushed to Ava's side, wrapping an arm around her. "Well, looks like we're in for one hell of a ride. How about we celebrate with mimosas?"

Ava shook her head, a wry smile playing on her lips. "Sorry, Lisa. No mimosas for me. Looks like I'm officially on the mommy track."

They settled onto the couch, the weight of the situation settling around them. Ava's voice was tinged with confusion and fear. "I don't even know who the father is, Lisa. How am I supposed to do this?"

Lisa's expression softened, but her tone remained firm. "Ava, you're the strongest, most badass woman I know. You're going to 'woman up' and embrace this challenge. And don't worry, I'll be right here, every step of the way."

Ava took a deep breath, feeling a mix of excitement and terror coursing through her. "Okay. First things first, I need to make a doctor's appointment. And then... we'll figure out the rest."

As they brainstormed baby names, Lisa couldn't resist a jab. "How about 'Fry'? You know, after your favorite 'Futurama' character?"

Ava laughed, but then a strange sensation fluttered in her stomach. She brushed it off as nerves, but it was hard to ignore the growing sense of something extraordinary happening.

They raised their glasses of sparkling water, toasting to the future. "To new beginnings," Ava said, her voice steady but her eyes filled with a mix of apprehension and excitement.

As they clinked glasses, a mysterious glow surrounded Ava's belly, a subtle hint of the unusual nature of her pregnancy. But for now, neither woman noticed, too caught up in the whirlwind of emotions and the promise of what was to come.
