Brigitte, the goddess of joy and fun, sauntered towards Apollo with a playful grin. She twirled a strand of her light pink hair and gazed at him with her dark eyes. "Apollo, my love," she began, "I've been thinking. It's time for us to have a child."
Apollo, the god of the sun, was taken aback by Brigitte's directness. He stuttered, trying to find the right words. "But Brigitte, are you sure? We lead such busy lives."
Brigitte laughed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Of course I'm sure, you big goof. I want a little one to bring even more joy into our lives."
Apollo, unable to resist Brigitte's infectious enthusiasm, agreed. The two spent the next several months trying for a baby, their lovemaking filled with laughter and playful banter.
Eventually, Brigitte became pregnant. She glowed with happiness, her face alight with joy. "I can't wait to meet our little one," she told Apollo, her hand resting on her growing belly.
On August 28th, Brigitte gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. They named him Solace, and his curly blonde hair and blue eyes were a perfect blend of his parents.
As Solace grew, Brigitte and Apollo doted on him. But as he reached his first birthday, Brigitte began to worry. "Apollo, my love, it's time for Solace to start sleeping in his own bed," she said, her voice firm but gentle.
Apollo hesitated, but Brigitte was insistent. "He needs to learn to sleep on his own, Apollo. It's important for both of them."
Reluctantly, Apollo agreed. That night, Brigitte put Solace to bed in his own crib. She sang him a lullaby and kissed him goodnight.
But at 3:45 am, Brigitte woke up with a start. She couldn't find Solace anywhere. Panic set in as she searched the chambers.
She finally found Solace in Apollo's arms, asleep and peaceful. "Apollo," she said, her voice a mix of frustration and amusement, "we agreed he would sleep in his own bed."
Apollo looked up at Brigitte, a guilty expression on his face. "I just wanted one more night," he said, his voice soft.
Brigitte couldn't help but laugh. "Fine, one more night. But tomorrow, he's back in his own bed."
Apollo nodded, grateful for Brigitte's understanding. He pulled her close, and the two of them watched over Solace as he slept, their love for each other and their child stronger than ever.
As they lay there, Brigitte couldn't help but tease Apollo. "You know, you're going to have to learn to let go at some point. He's not going to be a baby forever."
Apollo sighed, running his fingers through Solace's hair. "I know, I just can't help it. He's my son, and I want to protect him."
Brigitte smiled, understanding Apollo's feelings. "I know, my love. But part of protecting him is teaching him to be independent. He'll thank you for it one day."
Apollo nodded, knowing Brigitte was right. "I'll try my best, I promise."
Brigitte leaned over and kissed Apollo on the cheek. "I know you will. Now, let's get some sleep. We have a busy day ahead of us."
Apollo grinned, his worries fading away. "Yes, my queen. Now, let's get some rest."
And with that, the two of them drifted off to sleep, their love for each other and their child stronger than ever.
