Goddesses' Gossip: A Night of Wine, Wit, and Wicked Desires

Chapter One: Goddesses Gather

The lush gardens of Mount Olympus were a sight to behold, teeming with vibrant colors and the sweet scent of blooming flowers. A secluded area, hidden from the prying eyes of the gods, was the perfect setting for four goddesses to gather and indulge in the simple pleasures of motherhood.

Brigitte, Hera, Amphimtrite, and Persephone arrived, each carrying their babies in their arms. Their faces lit up at the sight of the adorable infants, and warm greetings were exchanged as they settled onto the soft grass.

Solace, Jason, Perseus, Bianca, and Nico cooed and gurgled, drawing the goddesses into a chorus of baby talk. Brigitte, unable to resist, pulled out a small bag of candies and offered them around. The other goddesses declined, but she popped one into her mouth with a wink.

Hera, in her usual regal manner, began the conversation by asking about the babies' eating habits. Brigitte shared her struggles with weaning Solace off of ambrosia and onto mortal food. "I swear, this child would live on the stuff if I let her," she joked, earning a collective chuckle from the group.

Amphimtrite playfully chided Brigitte for her indulgence, stating that her son Perseus had taken to solid food like a fish to water. "I suppose it's in his blood," she mused, smiling down at her son.

Persephone, her voice laced with exhaustion, admitted that her twins, Bianca and Nico, were still exclusively on ambrosia, much to Hades' dismay. "I swear, if he had his way, they'd be weaned off of it by now," she said, rolling her eyes.

The goddesses shared a collective laugh, commiserating over the challenges of motherhood. Hera brought up the topic of their husbands' involvement in childcare, raising an eyebrow at Brigitte.

Brigitte rolled her eyes, recounting a recent incident where Apollo tried to feed Solace but ended up covering himself in food. "Let's just say, I'll be sticking to the feeding duties for the foreseeable future," she said, chuckling.

Amphimtrite chuckled, revealing that Poseidon was equally clueless, often leaving Perseus' care to her. "I swear, he's more comfortable with sea creatures than with our son," she joked.

Persephone's lips quirked into a smirk as she shared Hades' disinterest in their twins, preferring to spend his time in the underworld. "At least he's consistent," she said, earning a sympathetic nod from the other goddesses.

The goddesses exchanged knowing glances, each aware of the disparity in their marital relationships. Brigitte, always the optimist, steered the conversation towards the positive, asking about the babies' sleep patterns.

Hera proudly boasted of Jason's excellent sleeping habits, much to the envy of the other goddesses. Amphimtrite and Persephone shared their struggles with their babies' nighttime woes, leading to a discussion on sleep training methods and lullabies.

As the sun began to set, the goddesses reluctantly said their goodbyes, each returning to their own corner of Mount Olympus. But they left with renewed energy and a sense of camaraderie, knowing they had each other to turn to in times of need. After all, even goddesses needed a little support and understanding.
