Golden Showers and Final Farewells: A Tale of Unconventional Love and Jealous Rage

Chapter One: A Wholesome Act

Marianne knelt by the grave, tears streaming down her face as she clutched a bouquet of wilted flowers. She missed him, his purity, his beauty, his youthful spirit. It had been months since he was taken from her, and she still couldn’t believe it.

Claudia walked into the backyard, her eyes scanning the area until they landed on her friend. “Marianne, what’s wrong?” she asked, concern lacing her voice.

Marianne looked up, her eyes red and swollen. “It’s him, Claudia. He was so innocent, so naive. And it got him killed.”

Claudia furrowed her brow. “Who took his life?”

Marianne hesitated, then whispered, “Another woman. Older, experienced. She lured him in and…” she trailed off, unable to finish.

Claudia’s eyes widened. “Oh, Marianne. I’m so sorry.”

Marianne shook her head. “It’s not your fault. It’s mine. I should have protected him.”

Claudia walked over to Marianne, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. “You can’t blame yourself for this.”

Marianne stood up, wiping her tears. She walked over to a nearby shovel and picked it up, digging it into the ground.

Claudia watched in shock as Marianne began to dig up the grave. “Marianne, what are you doing?”

Marianne looked up, her eyes determined. “I’m going to open his urn and pee inside. It’s a way of saying that I love him and will be with him forever.”

Claudia was taken aback, but she couldn’t deny the sense of joy that came over her at the thought. “Can I… can I join you?” she asked hesitantly.

Marianne nodded, a small smile on her face. “Of course.”

Together, they took turns peeing into the urn, laughing and joking as they did so. Claudia commented that it was like they were baptizing him all over again, and Marianne agreed.

When they were finished, Claudia asked, “Is this some kind of pagan ritual?”

Marianne laughed. “No, it’s just our way of saying goodbye.”

Claudia looked at Marianne, her eyes filled with admiration. “You know, you’re a strong, controlling, and direct woman, just like the woman who took your boyfriend’s life. But you’re a good person, Marianne. And that’s what matters.”

Marianne smiled, feeling a sense of peace she hadn’t felt in months. “Thank you, Claudia. I needed to hear that.”

They headed inside, pouring themselves a drink to celebrate their boyfriend’s life. Claudia asked Marianne if she regretted not being more experienced when she was younger.

Marianne shook her head. “No, I’m happy with the life I’ve lived. I just wish I could have protected him.”

Claudia raised her glass. “To a wholesome act, and to the memory of a beautiful soul.”

Marianne clinked her glass against Claudia’s, feeling a sense of closure she hadn’t felt in a long time.
