Hermione Granger let out a frustrated sigh as she slammed the door to the Helpful Hut, the magical supply closet where she and her professor, Draco Malfoy, had been taking cover during a potion-making class. But a stray spell had gone awry, and now they were trapped.
Draco couldn't help but smirk at Hermione's expense, his usual sarcastic self. "Well, looks like we're stuck here together, Miss Know-it-all. I guess you'll have to rely on my survival skills instead of your books for once."
Hermione rolled her eyes, trying to hide the flutter of excitement in her stomach at the thought of being alone with Draco. "I'd like to see you survive a day without your family's gold, Malfoy. Let's see who can make it out of here first with their dignity intact."
As they searched for a way out, Hermione's eyes landed on a shelf of magical love potions. She couldn't help but smirk as she picked one up and waved it in Draco's direction. "Looking for this, Malfoy?"
Draco's face turned a shade of red as he snatched the potion from Hermione's hand. "You wish, Granger. I don't need a potion to make you fall for me."
Hermione laughed, "Oh, please. You're the last person I'd ever fall for. Besides, I have a feeling we're going to be in here for a while. Who knows what could happen?"
Draco raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Hermione's bold statement. He leaned in closer, their faces just inches apart. "Is that a challenge, Granger?"
Hermione's heart raced as she felt Draco's breath on her face. She bit her lip, trying to hide her nerves. "Maybe it is, Malfoy. But remember, I'm a Gryffindor. I always win."
Just as their lips were about to touch, a loud bang echoed through the Helpful Hut as the door flew open. Hermione and Draco quickly pulled away from each other, their faces flushed.
The potions professor stood in the doorway, looking shocked at the scene before her. "Well, it seems like you two have found a way to pass the time. Class is over, you may leave."
Hermione and Draco exchanged a glance, both feeling a mix of relief and disappointment that their moment was interrupted.
As they walked out of the Helpful Hut, Hermione couldn't help but throw one last playful insult at Draco. "Better luck next time, Malfoy. Maybe you'll actually win something for once."
Draco chuckled, "Oh, I have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll be in this situation, Granger. And who knows, maybe I'll let you win next time."
Hermione rolled her eyes, a small smile playing on her lips. She couldn't wait to see what happened next.
