Hourglass Heiress: When Isabela Garcia, Demigod of Time, Makes History at Camp Half-Blood

Chapter One: The Hourglass Unveiled

The Camp Half-Blood amphitheater was brimming with laughter and playful banter as Percy and his friends gathered for their daily dose of camaraderie. The atmosphere was light and breezy, a stark contrast to the perilous adventures they often found themselves in.

Amidst the lively group, a confident Colombian girl with sun-kissed skin and dark brown hair casually strolled in, her hips swaying to an unheard rhythm. Isabela, as she was known, was a force to be reckoned with, her spirit as wild and untamed as the wind itself.

As she approached the group, she couldn't help but overhear Percy's struggle with a history problem. "The date of the First Olympian Games, the time it lasted, and the person who won the inaugural event," he muttered, frustration creasing his forehead.

Isabela couldn't resist showing off her wisdom. "776 BC, starting at dawn and ending at dusk, and the winner was Coroebus of Elis in the stadion race," she offered, a smug smile playing on her lips. Percy looked up, his eyes wide with surprise and admiration. "How did you know that?" he asked, unable to hide his intrigue.

Isabela chuckled, playfully dismissing the idea that she might be a child of Athena. "Let's just say I have a knack for remembering things," she replied, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

Suddenly, an hourglass symbol appeared above Isabela's head, signifying her divine parentage. A booming voice echoed through the camp, announcing her as the daughter of Kronos, the god of time. The group reacted with shock and disbelief, while Isabela remained calm and composed, a smirk playing on her lips.

Leo, the camp's resident mechanic, was the first to recover. He greeted Isabela with a mix of awe and humor, welcoming her to Camp Half-Blood. "Well, well, well, look what the gods dragged in. A walking, talking hourglass. I'm Leo, by the way. Nice to meet you... I think."

Piper, a demigod with charmspeak abilities, tried to flirt with Isabela, who playfully insulted her, leaving Piper both annoyed and amused. "Oh, look at you, trying to charm your way into my good graces. Nice try, sweetheart, but I'm not that easily swayed."

Annabeth, a daughter of Athena, scrutinized Isabela, trying to gauge her intelligence and strength. "I'm Annabeth. I have to admit, I'm a bit skeptical. You're the daughter of Kronos? That's... unexpected."

Percy, still reeling from the revelation, couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness towards the new arrival. "Be careful, Isabela. Not everyone here will be as welcoming as Leo and Piper," he warned, his eyes filled with concern.

Nico, a son of Hades, watched from a distance, intrigued by the newcomer but cautious. "I've never met a child of Kronos before. I wonder what that means for us," he thought, his mind racing with possibilities.

Will, a son of Apollo, approached Isabela, attempting to bond over their shared love for riddles and puzzles. "I bet you're a whiz at riddles, being the daughter of Kronos and all. Care for a little challenge?"

Reyna, a daughter of Bellona and the current praetor of the Roman camp, sensed a formidable ally in Isabela. "I'm Reyna. I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot of each other. Welcome to the crazy world of demigods," she said, extending a hand in friendship.

Talia, a huntress and a daughter of Zeus, challenged Isabela to a sparring match, eager to test her skills. "I'm Talia. Let's see what you're made of. Ready for a little sparring match?"

Jason, a son of Jupiter and the former praetor of the Roman camp, welcomed Isabela, acknowledging the power she brings to Camp Half-Blood. "I'm Jason. With you by our side, I have no doubt we'll face any challenges that come our way. Welcome to the family."

Frank, a shapeshifter and a son of Mars, tentatively approached Isabela, attempting to make her feel welcome in the chaotic demigod community. "I'm Frank. Don't let these guys intimidate you. We're all a little crazy around here, but we're family. And now, so are you."

Isabela stood tall, her eyes scanning the group, a confident smile on her lips. "Thank you, all of you. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all... and maybe teaching you a thing or two about time," she said, her words sharp and witty, leaving no doubt that she was a force to be reckoned with.

And so, the hourglass was unveiled, its sands of time waiting to weave their magic in the tapestry of Camp Half-Blood.
