The Camp Half-Blood amphitheater was brimming with the energy of young demigods, their laughter and conversations creating a symphony of youthful exuberance. Among them was a confident 12-year-old Colombian demigod, Isabela, with her tanned skin glowing in the afternoon sun and her dark brown hair cascading down her shoulders. She was in the middle of correcting Percy Jackson's history problem when a sudden silence fell upon the crowd.
Percy, with an impressed look on his face, said, "You know, Isabela, you might just be a child of Athena. You certainly have her wisdom."
Isabela blushed at the unexpected compliment, but before she could respond, a symbol appeared above her head. It was an hourglass, shimmering in the air, signifying her divine parentage. The crowd of demigods - Leo, Piper, Annabeth, Percy, Nico, Will, Reyna, Talia, Jason, Frank, and Hazel - reacted with shock and confusion, their eyes fixated on the symbol above her.
Isabela, feeling self-conscious, tried to hide the symbol with her hand, but Athena's children encouraged her to embrace it. "Don't hide it, Isabela. You should be proud of your heritage," Percy said, smiling warmly at her.
A booming voice echoed through the amphitheater, announcing Isabela's divine parentage: Kronos, the god of time. The demigods exchanged puzzled glances, unsure how the king of the Titans could have a child. Isabela, amused by their reactions, playfully insulted the crowd, "Well, I guess I'm the belle of the ball now. Who's going to ask me to dance?"
Percy, trying to lighten the mood, joked, "I'd watch out for any 'time warps' if I were you."
Isabela retorted, "Oh, Percy, you're hilarious. Maybe I'll turn you into a fossil if you keep that up."
Annabeth, protective of Athena's image, questioned the legitimacy of Kronos being Isabela's father. "But how could Kronos be your father? He was defeated long ago."
Nico, the son of Hades, suggested that perhaps Kronos had found a way to manipulate time and create a new demigod. "Maybe he's found a way to cheat death and create new life," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
Isabela, growing impatient, demanded an explanation from the voice that claimed her. "Alright, mysterious voice, I'm listening. What do you want from me?"
The voice responded, cryptically teasing that Isabela's story was only beginning and that she would change the course of destiny. The demigods looked at each other, unsure of what to make of the voice's words.
The crowd of demigods, led by Percy, welcomed Isabela into their community, eager to learn more about her unique abilities and heritage. They were curious about the daughter of Kronos and what her presence meant for their future. And as they welcomed her, Isabela couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging, as if she had finally found her place in the world.
As the sun began to set, the amphitheater was once again filled with laughter and conversations, the energy of the young demigods returning to its previous state. But this time, it was different. This time, they had a new member, a new story, and a new future to look forward to. And as they embraced the unknown, they couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what was to come.
