Ice and Fire: A Hockey Team's Intimate Recovery

Chapter 1: Breaking Point

The locker room was a cacophony of heavy breaths and the clatter of gear after the brutal loss. Blake, the team’s star forward, sat hunched on the bench, his broad shoulders trembling as his fingers clawed at his neck, leaving angry red scratches. His chest heaved, each gasp a desperate plea for air, and tears streamed down his chiseled face, pooling on the cold concrete floor. The team hovered, their concern palpable, as his sobs echoed off the tiled walls.

'Blake, man, breathe. Just breathe,' said Tanner, the rugged defenseman, kneeling in front of him, his voice steady but laced with worry. 'You’re gonna tear your damn skin off. Stop it.'

Blake’s wild eyes darted to Tanner, his voice cracking. 'I fucked up out there. That goal—it’s on me. I can’t—'

'Shut it,' snapped Riley, the team’s fierce captain, her tone cutting through his spiral like a blade. At 5’10”, with a presence that dominated even the biggest players, she stepped forward, her dark hair pulled back tight, eyes blazing. 'You’re not the first to miss a play, and you won’t be the last. Get a grip, or I’ll pin you down myself until you do.'

Blake’s sobs hitched, but he didn’t stop clawing. Riley grabbed his wrists, her grip ironclad, forcing his hands to his sides. 'Look at me, hotshot. You’re not falling apart on my watch. We’ve got you.'

Beside her, Mara, the team’s medic and unofficial enforcer, crossed her arms, her sharp gaze assessing every twitch of Blake’s body. 'He took a nasty hit down low,' she said, her voice low and clinical, but with an edge of heat. 'Puck to the groin, stick right after. He’s crying too hard for just a bad game. We need to check him out—make sure nothing’s torn or bleeding.'

Blake’s face flushed a deep crimson, his eyes widening. 'What? No, I’m fine—'

'Don’t even start,' Mara cut him off, stepping closer, her presence as commanding as Riley’s. 'You’re not fine, and we’re not asking. You’re gonna let us take care of you, or I’ll make you wish you had. Strip the gear. Now.'

His protests died under the weight of her stare, and with trembling hands, he shed his pads, revealing the taut, sweat-slicked muscles of his torso. The team formed a protective circle around him, shielding him from any prying eyes outside their tight-knit group. Riley’s voice softened, but only just. 'We’re family, Blake. You don’t hide from us. Not your pain, not your body. Let us help.'

Mara knelt, her hands deft and unapologetic as she inspected the damage, her fingers brushing against his inner thighs. Blake flinched, his breath hitching again, but not from panic this time. 'Easy, tiger,' Mara teased, her smirk wicked. 'I’m not here to play, just to make sure your goods aren’t wrecked. Though, damn, you’re packing heat even when you’re a mess.'

Blake groaned, half in embarrassment, half in reluctant amusement, as Riley chuckled darkly. 'She’s not wrong. But keep squirming, and I’ll tie you to this bench. We’re not done until we know you’re whole.'

The tension in the air shifted, a raw, electric undercurrent weaving through the concern. Mara’s touch was clinical but lingered just a moment too long, her eyes flicking up to meet his with a challenge. 'No tears, no bruises… yet,' she murmured, her voice a purr. 'But you’re hard as hell under all this stress, aren’t you? Bet you’re aching for more than just a win tonight.'

Blake’s jaw clenched, his body betraying him as heat surged through him, his cock stirring under her gaze. Riley noticed, her lips curling into a dangerous smile. 'Oh, we’ve got a live one. Don’t worry, sweetheart. We’ll clean you up, feed you, and get you relaxed—one way or another.'

The promise in her words hung heavy, a seductive threat that made Blake’s pulse race for reasons beyond panic. Mara stood, wiping her hands on a towel, her eyes never leaving his. 'Shower first. Then we talk about what’s really got you sweating and panting. And trust me, I’m not just talking about the game.'

As they guided him toward the showers, the air thickened with unspoken desire, the line between care and craving blurring. Blake’s resistance faltered, his body already responding to the heat of their attention, and he knew—deep down—that this night was about to ignite in ways he’d never expected.
