The mother and daughter, their names being Jane and Emily, pulled up to the family's secluded cabin in the countryside. The car bumped along the dirt road, kicking up clouds of dust behind them. Emily, with her wild brown curls and bright green eyes, was practically bouncing in her seat with excitement.
"Mom, can you believe it's been a whole year since we've been here? I've missed this place so much!" she exclaimed, her voice full of joy.
Jane, a tall and slender woman with a no-nonsense attitude, smiled at her daughter's enthusiasm. "I know, sweetheart. I've been looking forward to this weekend too. Now come on, let's get unpacked and settled in."
As Jane began unloading the car and carrying the bags into the cabin, Emily couldn't resist the call of the surrounding woods. She grabbed her backpack and took off, leaving Jane to shake her head and mutter under her breath. "That girl and her imagination..."
Emily returned to the cabin a short while later, her face flushed with excitement. "Mom, you won't believe what I saw in the woods! It was this strange creature, all scaly and green, with these long, spindly fingers. It was just standing there, staring at me!"
Jane raised an eyebrow at her daughter's description. "Emily, you have a wonderful imagination, but I think you might have been seeing things. There's nothing like that around here."
Emily pouted, but didn't press the issue. As the night fell, the two of them settled in for the evening. Jane lit a fire in the woodstove and they sat on the couch, reading and chatting.
But their peaceful evening was interrupted by strange noises coming from outside the cabin. Jane went to investigate, but was attacked by a strange, alien creature. She fought back, but it was too strong. The creature, a facehugger, attached itself to her face and she fell to the ground, unconscious.
Emily heard her mother's screams and rushed to her aid. She saw the facehugger on her mother's face and panicked. Jane regained consciousness for a moment, her eyes clear and determined. "Emily, run. Get as far away from here as you can."
Emily hesitated, but eventually obeyed, leaving her mother to fend for herself. Jane struggled against the facehugger, but it was too late. She felt a sharp pain as the facehugger oviposited in her vagina. She passed out, leaving the facehugger to finish its work.
As Emily ran through the woods, she couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and fear. She had left her mother behind, alone and vulnerable. But as she looked up at the stars, she knew she had to keep going. She had to survive, for her mother and for herself.
