The sun beat down on the sandy shore, and the salty breeze carried the laughter and chatter of beach-goers. Among them was Dag, a muscular figure with a charming smile, manning the hot-dog stand and keeping an eye on the swimmers as the lifeguard.
As Dag served up delicious hot-dogs to the crowd, a shadow passed overhead. Angelo, a half-human, half-mosquito creature, flew by, playfully taunting Dag. "Hey, pink puffball! Looking good there, balloon with a snout!"
Dag, never one to back down, shot back. "And you, flying bloodsucker! Love-struck loser, more like it!"
Angelo couldn't resist. He aimed one of his infamous cupid arrows at Dag, causing him to become instantly infatuated with the first person he saw - a passing brawler. Dag stumbled over himself, trying to impress the brawler with his muscular physique and witty banter, only to be rejected.
Angelo, amused by the spectacle, landed on a nearby beach towel and struck up a conversation with Dag. "Looks like you're in a bit of a pickle there, hot-dog vendor."
Dag, still under the influence of the arrow, tried to flirt with Angelo, but his advances were rejected. "I'm not interested in romance, Dag. I'm happy being a free agent."
Feeling embarrassed, Dag asked Angelo to remove the arrow's effects. Reluctantly, Angelo agreed, but only if Dag let him shoot an arrow at him every time he got too full of himself. Feeling grateful, Dag agreed to the deal and the two parted ways.
As Dag continued his shift, he couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that Angelo didn't return his affections. Meanwhile, Angelo, watching from a distance, couldn't help but feel a little flattered by Dag's advances.
As the day came to an end, Dag couldn't help but wonder if there was more to Angelo than meets the eye. And Angelo, on the other hand, couldn't help but wonder if he made a mistake by rejecting Dag.
The stage was set for a playful and humorous tale of love, friendship, and self-discovery, with strong and controlling female characters taking the lead in future chapters.
