The night was young, and the city was alive with the sounds of laughter and holiday cheer. Vivienne, a successful businesswoman with a sharp tongue and an even sharper wit, sat at the bar of a trendy upscale karaoke bar, scanning the songbook with her best friend, Jess, by her side.
"Come on, Jess, live a little," Vivienne said, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she flipped through the pages. "Jingle Bell Rock" caught her eye, and she grinned, looking over at Jess. "This one. We have to do this one."
Jess wrinkled her nose, skeptical. "It's so cheesy, Viv."
Vivienne rolled her eyes, playfully insulting her friend. "And you're no fun. We'll show these basic bitches how it's done."
Jess couldn't help but laugh at Vivienne's antics. "Fine, but if I end up regretting this, I'm blaming you."
They took the stage, and Vivienne took the lead, her voice sultry and confident as she started singing the song. But as she went on, she realized that the original lyrics just wouldn't do. She started improvising, changing the lyrics to be more suggestive and sexy, much to Jess's surprise and amusement.
Jess joined in, and the two of them sang about "ringing each other's bells" and "jingling all the way" to the beat of the song. The crowd at the bar was initially taken aback by the explicit nature of the lyrics, but they quickly got into it, cheering and clapping along.
Vivienne and Jess were having the time of their lives, feeling empowered and free as they sang about their desires. As the song came to a close, Vivienne looked out into the crowd and made eye contact with a handsome stranger. She sang the final lines directly to him, leaving him wanting more.
After the song, Vivienne and Jess were approached by the stranger, who introduced himself as Jack. He complimented them on their performance and said he'd never heard the song like that before. Vivienne, still feeling bold and playful, flirted with Jack and invited him to join them for a drink. Jess rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but be amused by her friend's antics.
As the night went on, Vivienne and Jack's flirting became more and more intense. Jess, feeling like a third wheel, decided to call it a night. Vivienne walked Jess out, but before she left, Jess warned Vivienne to be careful. Vivienne just laughed and said she could handle herself.
Jack and Vivienne continued to drink and flirt, eventually leaving the bar and heading back to Jack's place. As they entered his apartment, the sexual tension between them was palpable. They started kissing passionately, their hands exploring each other's bodies.
The chapter ended with Vivienne taking control, leading Jack to the bedroom and whispering in his ear, "let's jingle all the way."
