The local community pool was bustling with activity on this hot summer day. Children were running around, squealing with delight as they splashed each other in the shallow end. Amidst the chaos, Junior lay on his lounge chair, trying to conceal his growing arousal. His speedo did little to hide his predicament, and he squirmed uncomfortably, trying to think of anything but his current state.
Sam, Junior's best friend, noticed his discomfort and playfully taunted him. "Junior, you're harder than the concrete around the pool!" she said, raising an eyebrow. "You better watch out or you'll scare the little ones away."
Junior blushed, trying to laugh it off. "Sam, you know it's not like that. I can't help it, it's just...nature."
Sam chuckled, "Nature, huh? Well, you better find a way to control it, or I'll start calling you 'Junior the Pervert'."
Junior groaned, "You're killing me, Sam."
Sam smiled, "I'm just messing with you. But seriously, Junior, you need to get a handle on that thing before someone gets the wrong idea."
Junior sighed, "I know, I know. It's just...hard...to control."
Sam rolled her eyes, "Of course it is. Well, I'm not going to be your lifeguard forever. You better figure it out before I abandon ship."
Junior looked at Sam, a determined look in his eyes. "I'll figure it out, Sam. I promise."
Sam smiled, "That's the spirit, Junior. Now, let's go for a swim before you cause a scene."
Junior and Sam dove into the pool, the cool water providing a temporary relief to Junior's situation. As they swam, Sam continued to tease Junior, "So, any luck controlling your...problem?"
Junior groaned, "Sam, please. I'm trying."
Sam laughed, "I'm just giving you a hard time, Junior. But seriously, you need to be careful. We don't want any misunderstandings."
Junior chuckled, "Thanks for the advice, Sam. You're always looking out for me."
Sam grinned, "That's what best friends are for, Junior. Now, let's race to the other side of the pool. Last one there buys ice cream!"
Junior and Sam raced through the water, their laughter echoing through the community pool. Despite his earlier discomfort, Junior couldn't help but feel grateful for Sam's friendship and support. He knew he could always count on her to keep him grounded, even in the most awkward of situations.
