Neo's apartment was a sight for sore eyes after the long and grueling journey to Night City. Kate and David, a smart red-haired woman and a smart but not very strong man, respectively, were exhausted but excited to start their new lives in the cyberpunk megapolis.
"Thanks for helping us out, Neo," Kate said as she looked around the small but cozy apartment.
Neo shrugged. "No problem. I owe you one from college."
David nodded. "Yeah, thanks. This place is great."
Kate turned to Neo. "So, what's the plan for getting us into Night City Academy? I heard it's the best place to get a good education and secure a good career."
Neo grinned. "I know a guy. He's a netrunner named Alan. He might be able to help you out."
Kate's eyes lit up. "A netrunner? That's perfect. I'll log into cyberspace and see if I can find him."
David looked nervous. "Be careful, Kate. Cyberspace can be dangerous."
Kate rolled her eyes. "I can handle it. You just stay here and explore Night City. Maybe you'll find a job or something."
David nodded and left the apartment. Kate logged into cyberspace and quickly found Alan.
"Hi there," she said. "I'm Kate. Neo said you might be able to help me get into Night City Academy."
Alan looked her up and down. "I might be able to do that. But it will cost you a small favor."
Kate raised an eyebrow. "What kind of favor?"
Alan grinned. "I need you to break into a secure part of cyberspace and steal a data block for me."
Kate hesitated. "That sounds risky. What's in the data block?"
Alan shrugged. "I don't know. But it's worth a lot of money to the right people."
Kate thought for a moment. "Okay, I'll do it. But you better hold up your end of the deal."
Alan nodded. "Of course. I'll meet you back here in an hour."
Kate broke into the secure part of cyberspace and stole the data block. But as she was about to leave, she was ambushed by an unknown virus program. It slowly and subtly tried to corrupt her, turning her into a "slut" who loved sleeping with black men.
Meanwhile, David was exploring Night City when he stumbled upon a gang of black men, led by their leader, Cadó.
"What do we have here?" Cadó said as he looked David up and down. "A little lost boy?"
David tried to act tough. "I'm not lost. I'm just exploring."
Cadó laughed. "Exploring? In my territory? That's a dangerous game, boy."
Cadó humiliated David and threatened to rape Kate, turning her into their plaything. David was scared and agreed to work for Cadó to protect Kate.
Cadó gave David his first task - to deliver a message to the White Widow in the Factory Districts.
Kate returned from cyberspace, unaware of the virus in her head. David was hesitant to tell Kate about his deal with Cadó, but eventually did.
Kate was angry and insulted, calling David a "weakling" and a "coward".
David apologized and promised to make it right.
Kate and David tried to come up with a plan to get out of their situation.
"We need to find a way to get rid of that virus in your head," David said.
Kate nodded. "And we need to get away from Cadó and his gang. They're dangerous."
David agreed. "I'll keep working for them for now, but we need to find a way out of this."
Kate nodded. "I'll see if I can find anything in cyberspace. Maybe there's a way to reverse the virus."
David and Kate worked together to come up with a plan to escape their dangerous situation in Night City.
