Kimmy's First Date with Black Daddy

### Chapter One: The Big Reveal

The airport terminal buzzed like a beehive on steroids, a chaotic symphony of rolling suitcases, hurried footsteps, and the occasional garbled announcement crackling over the intercom. Kimmy stood near the arrivals gate, a petite fireball of energy at just 22, her dark hair pulled into a messy bun that screamed “I’m hot, but I don’t try too hard.” Her fingers clutched her phone like a lifeline, the screen glowing with months of steamy chats with the man she’d dubbed “Black Daddy.” She scrolled through their latest exchange, her lips curling into a smirk at the memory of his last message: *“Baby girl, when I see you, I’m gonna make that sass of yours melt.”*

“Yeah, right,” she muttered under her breath, her hazel eyes scanning the crowd with a mix of nerves and raw anticipation. “You better be as big and bad as you talk, mister, or I’m gonna have to school you myself.”

Her internal monologue was a battlefield of sass and uncertainty. *What if he’s shorter than he said? What if those pics were from ten years ago? What if he’s got the personality of a wet sock?* She shook her head, her studded leather jacket shifting with the motion. *Nah, Kimmy, you’ve got this. You’re the queen of this game. If he’s not up to par, you’ll have him eating out of your palm by the end of the day.*

She adjusted her stance, popping a hip and crossing her arms, her tight jeans hugging every curve as she played the part of the confident vixen. But inside, her heart was doing cartwheels. She’d spent months building this man up in her mind—his deep voice in late-night voice notes, the way he’d teased her with promises of dominance, the grainy photos that hinted at a tall, broad-shouldered frame with skin like rich mahogany. Would the real deal match the fantasy?

Then, she saw him.

He emerged from the sea of travelers like a damn mirage, all six-foot-something of him, his presence commanding the space without even trying. Dark shades hid his eyes, but the sharp cut of his jaw and the easy, predatory stride told her everything she needed to know. He wore a black leather jacket over a fitted tee, jeans slung low on his hips, and a smirk that could melt steel. Her breath hitched, but she quickly masked it with a cocky tilt of her head.

“Well, damn,” she whispered to herself, “he might actually be worth the hype.”

He scanned the crowd, and when their eyes locked—his shades now pushed up to reveal a piercing gaze—static electricity seemed to crackle through the air. Her skin prickled as he made a beeline for her, his smirk widening with every step. Kimmy straightened, refusing to let him see her falter, and planted herself firmly in his path.

“You must be trouble,” he said, his voice a low rumble that sent a shiver down her spine. He towered over her, his presence even more imposing up close, but she didn’t back down.

“And you must be the guy who thinks he can handle it,” she shot back, her tone dripping with challenge as she looked him up and down. “Black Daddy, I presume?”

He chuckled, a deep, throaty sound that made her toes curl in her boots. “In the flesh, baby girl. And you’re even mouthier in person, huh, Kimmy?”

She stepped closer, invading his space, her smirk sharp as a blade. “Oh, honey, you have no idea. I’ve been waiting to see if you’re all talk or if you’ve got the goods to back it up. So far, I’m not disappointed… but I’m not impressed yet either.”

His brow arched, and he leaned down slightly, his breath warm against her ear as he murmured, “Keep talking like that, and I’ll have to show you just how impressive I can be. You sure you’re ready for that?”

Kimmy’s pulse raced, but she didn’t flinch. Instead, she tipped her chin up, her eyes glinting with mischief. “Ready? Sweetheart, I was born ready. Question is, can you keep up with me? I don’t play nice, and I don’t play easy.”

He laughed again, stepping back to give her a slow, appreciative once-over. “Oh, I can see that. You’re a little firecracker, aren’t you? But I’ve got a knack for handling heat. Might even turn it up a notch or two.”

She rolled her eyes, but the grin tugging at her lips betrayed her. “Big words for a man who just got off a plane. You tired, Daddy? Need a nap before you start making promises?”

He removed his shades fully now, tucking them into his jacket pocket, and fixed her with a look that was pure, unadulterated heat. “Tired? Nah, baby girl. I’ve got all the energy in the world to deal with a brat like you. Matter of fact, I’m thinking we skip the small talk and get straight to the part where I show you who’s boss.”

Kimmy’s laughter was sharp and bright, cutting through the hum of the terminal. “Oh, you think you’re the boss already? Cute. I’ll let you believe that… for now. But let’s get one thing straight—I don’t follow orders. I give ‘em. So, you better be ready to take notes.”

He grinned, clearly relishing the back-and-forth. “We’ll see about that. But I’ll give you a head start. Lead the way, princess. I’m dying to see how you think you’re gonna run this show.”

She didn’t hesitate, looping her arm through his with a possessive little tug, her nails grazing his bicep just enough to make her point. “Oh, I’m gonna run it, alright. And you’re gonna love every second of it. Now, let’s get out of here before I decide to make a scene right in the middle of this airport. I’ve got plans for you, big guy, and they don’t involve an audience… yet.”

His eyes darkened with interest, and he let her pull him toward the exit, matching her stride with an ease that made her heart pound even harder. “Plans, huh? I’m all ears. But don’t think for a second I’m not gonna flip the script on you, Kimmy. You’re playing with fire now.”

She glanced up at him, her smirk wicked. “Good. I like it hot.”

As they stepped out into the cool evening air, her mind was already racing with ways to push his buttons, to test just how far she could take this game before one of them broke. She had a feeling it was going to be a hell of a ride—and she was determined to be the one steering.
