He was a muscular son of Ares, the god of war, but against Ophelia, he was little more than a pesky gnat. With a swift kick, she disarmed him and sent him stumbling backwards.
"That's enough for today," she declared, her voice strong and commanding.
The training session had drawn a small crowd, including Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase, two of the camp's most respected demigods. As Ophelia's sparring partner picked himself up off the ground, a nearby camper spoke up.
"She'll put you in your place if you try to hurt her," he said, chuckling. "Her name's Ophelia, daughter of Kronos."
Percy and Annabeth exchanged skeptical glances. They had heard of the war between the gods and Kronos, but they had never encountered one of his children.
Ophelia, noticing their curiosity, offered a playful smirk and beckoned them over. "Care to try your luck?" she challenged.
Percy, unable to resist, accepted the offer and readied himself for battle. "Just remember," Ophelia teased, "I'm the daughter of a Titan. You might want to hold back a little."
The sparring match began, with Ophelia skillfully dodging and parrying Percy's attacks. Annabeth watched in awe, impressed by Ophelia's strength and agility.
"I didn't know Kronos had any children left," she remarked to no one in particular.
Ophelia, sensing Percy's growing exhaustion, delivered a swift kick to his chest, sending him sprawling to the ground.
"Well, that was fun," Ophelia said, extending a hand to help Percy up. "But I have other business to attend to."
Percy, still reeling from the defeat, accepted Ophelia's hand and thanked her for the match. "You're good," he conceded.
Ophelia, with a wink, replied, "I know."
And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving Percy and Annabeth to ponder the mysterious and formidable daughter of Kronos.
As they watched her go, Percy couldn't help but feel a flicker of attraction. There was something undeniably alluring about Ophelia, something that drew him in despite his better judgment.
"Be careful, Percy," Annabeth warned, breaking the silence. "She may be strong, but she's also dangerous. You don't want to get mixed up with the enemy."
But Percy couldn't shake the feeling that Ophelia was anything but an enemy. He couldn't wait to see what the future held for the enigmatic Spartan maiden.
