Lakeside Temptation

Lakeside Temptation

Chapter 1: Wading into Desire

The sun blazed overhead, a relentless tyrant of heat, as Rika made her way to the secluded lake nestled deep in the woods. Her flower-patterned bikini clung to her curves, the bright petals dancing across her skin like a secret garden. She’d always loved this spot—quiet, hidden, hers. Today, though, her heart thrummed with a different kind of anticipation. Maybe, just maybe, she’d see Ellior.

She dipped her toes into the cool water, a sigh escaping her lips as the heat melted away. The lake shimmered, inviting her deeper, and she waded in until the water lapped at her thighs. That’s when she heard the crunch of leaves behind her.

“Rika? What are you doing out here looking like a damn siren?” Ellior’s voice cut through the stillness, playful but laced with something darker, hungrier. He stood at the edge of the lake, his dark hair tousled, a smirk playing on his lips as his eyes roamed over her.

Rika spun around, her cheeks flushing, but she squared her shoulders, refusing to shrink under his gaze. “I could ask you the same, Ellior. Stalking me now, are you?” she shot back, her tone teasing, though her pulse raced.

He chuckled, stepping closer to the water’s edge. “Just passing by, sweetheart. But hell, I’m not complaining about the view. Mind if I join you, or is this a private seduction?”

She rolled her eyes, but a smile tugged at her lips. “Get in, then. Don’t just stand there gawking like a creep.”

Ellior didn’t need a second invitation. He kicked off his shoes, tugged his shirt over his head—revealing a lean, tanned torso that made Rika’s breath hitch—and waded in. The water rippled around him as he approached, his grin wicked. “You know, Rika, that bikini’s a damn tease. All those flowers... makes a guy wanna pluck every petal.”

Her laugh was sharp, but her body betrayed her, heat pooling low in her belly. “Oh, please. You couldn’t handle plucking a daisy, let alone me.”

“Is that a challenge?” His voice dropped, rough and daring, as he closed the distance between them. Water glistened on his skin, and Rika felt her resolve waver, her shyness battling with the fire his words ignited.

“Maybe it is,” she countered, her voice steadier than she felt. “But don’t think I’ll make it easy for you.”

Ellior’s eyes darkened, and before she could toss another barb, his hand brushed her waist under the water, pulling her closer. “Good. I like a fight,” he murmured, and then his lips crashed into hers.

The kiss was electric, hungry, stealing the air from her lungs. Rika’s hands found his shoulders, gripping tight as his tongue teased hers, a dance of heat and want. She felt his fingers at the tie of her bikini top, deftly undoing the knot, and the fabric slipped free, baring her to the warm air. His hands were on her instantly, cupping, kneading, sending sparks through her nerves.

“Ellior,” she gasped against his mouth, half-protest, half-plea, but she didn’t pull away. Her body arched into his touch, craving more.

“Fuck, Rika,” he growled, his voice raw. “I want you. Right here, right now. I’m so damn hard for you, I can’t think straight. But I gotta warn you—I’m not gonna be gentle. You okay with that?”

Her heart pounded, a mix of nerves and raw desire. She met his gaze, her own fierce despite the flush on her cheeks. “I’m not some fragile thing, Ellior. If you’re gonna do this, don’t hold back. I can take it.”

His grin was feral, and in a swift motion, he dragged her toward the lake’s edge, the water sloshing around them. The air was thick with tension, their breaths already ragged, and Rika knew there was no turning back from the storm they were about to unleash.
