Lightning's Touch: When Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom, and Hercules Conceive Twins, and Zeus Loses His Cool (But Athena's Having None of It)

Chapter One: A Father’s Fury

The Temple of Athena was a sight to behold, a magnificent structure that stood tall and proud on the sacred grounds of Olympus. It was a place of worship, a place of learning, and on this day, it was a place of contemplation for the goddess of war and wisdom herself.

Athena sat on her throne, her fingers absently running through her brown hair as she pondered the recent discovery of her pregnancy with twins. She chuckled to herself, recalling the numerous trysts she had with Hercules, the strong and arrogant demigod. The sex had been incredible, a whirlwind of passion and power that she couldn’t resist. And now, she was to become a mother.

But her joy was tinged with worry. She knew that her father, Zeus, King of the Gods, would not take kindly to the news of her pregnancy, especially when he found out that the father was a demigod.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden burst of lightning, and Zeus appeared before her, his face thunderous. “Athena!” he boomed, “I have heard rumors of your pregnancy. Who is the father?”

Athena looked up at her father with a mischievous smirk. “Well, Father, it seems you have not been paying close enough attention to my affairs. The father of my children is none other than Hercules.”

Zeus’s face turned a deep shade of purple, and he raised his hand, ready to strike Athena with a bolt of lightning. But Athena was not afraid. She raised her hand to meet her father’s, a look of determination in her eyes. “I will not let you harm my children, Father. They are a part of me, and I will protect them with my life.”

Zeus hesitated for a moment before lowering his hand. “Fine,” he growled, “but you will get an abortion. I will not have a demigod running around Olympus.”

Athena shook her head. “I refuse. My children will be born, and they will be strong and powerful.”

With a roar of frustration, Zeus struck Athena with a bolt of lightning, sending her crashing to the ground. But even as she lay there, dazed, she heard a voice. “Athena, are you alright?” It was Apollo, the god of the sun and music.

Athena sat up, wincing at the pain in her side. “I’m fine, Apollo. But I need to know, are my children okay?”

Apollo nodded. “Yes, Athena. Your children are strong and healthy. They will be born soon.”

Athena smiled, feeling a surge of love and protectiveness for her unborn twins. “Thank you, Apollo. I know they will be great.”

Apollo chuckled. “I have no doubt, Athena. But be careful. Your father is not pleased.”

Athena nodded. “I know. But I will not let him harm my children. I will protect them with all my strength.”

And with that, she stood up, her resolve stronger than ever. She would not let her father harm her children. She would protect them, no matter the cost.
