Lightning's Touch: When Athena, Goddess of War and Wisdom, Defied Zeus and Sparked a Divine Love Scandal

Chapter One: A Father’s Fury

The Temple of Athena, a sanctuary of serenity and wisdom, was bathed in the soft glow of twilight. Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom, sat on her throne, her fingers absentmindedly running through her brown locks. A secret smile played on her lips as she contemplated the recent revelation of her pregnancy – a miraculous event, for she was a virgin goddess. Yet, she couldn’t help but revel in the memories of the passionate nights she had shared with Hercules, the father of her unborn children.

However, her joy was marred by the looming shadow of her father, Zeus, and the inevitable wrath he would unleash upon hearing the news. Athena steeled herself, knowing that she would have to face him soon.

The temple doors slammed open, reverberating through the sacred chamber. Zeus’s booming voice echoed off the marble walls, “Athena! Who is the father of your children?”

Athena took a deep breath, her eyes meeting her father’s. She looked him directly in the eye, her voice steady and unyielding, “It’s Hercules.”

Zeus’s face turned a deep shade of purple, the veins on his forehead bulging. His eyes narrowed, and his voice thundered through the temple, “You will get an abortion. This is an abomination!”

Athena’s eyes narrowed, her voice sharp and unwavering, “I will not. These are my children, and I will not harm them.”

Zeus’s anger reached its zenith, and he struck Athena with a bolt of lightning. The force of the blow sent her crashing to the ground, unconscious.

The temple was silent, save for the soft whispers of the wind. The once-peaceful sanctuary was now a battlefield, a testament to the fury of a father scorned. Yet, Athena lay there, a symbol of strength and defiance, her resolve unbroken.

For she was Athena, the goddess of war and wisdom, and she would not be defeated. Not by her father, not by anyone.
