Nick was lounging on the couch, his long legs stretched out in front of him as he scrolled through his phone. He let out a sigh, bored out of his mind. Babysitting Kaylee for the night was turning out to be a lot less exciting than he had hoped.
Just then, Kaylee walked into the room, clutching her favorite teddy bear tightly to her chest. She looked up at Nick with her big, curious eyes, and he couldn't help but smile at her innocence.
"Hey, Kaylee. Wanna play a game?" Nick asked, hoping to liven things up a bit.
Kaylee hesitated for a moment before nodding her head. "Okay," Nick said, a mischievous glint in his eye. "It's called 'Show and Tell.' I'll show you something, and then you tell me something."
Nick held up his phone, showing Kaylee a picture of a cute puppy. Kaylee giggled and told him about the time she saw a real-life puppy at the park. Nick chuckled, enjoying their little game.
Feeling bold, Nick decided to take things to the next level. "Alright, Kaylee. My turn again. Close your eyes and hold out your hand."
Kaylee did as she was told, her small hand trembling slightly. Nick grinned and placed a small, sugary candy on her palm. Kaylee's eyes lit up as she opened her eyes and saw the candy.
"Yum! Can I have another one?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Nick chuckled. "Sure thing, kiddo. But first, it's your turn again. Close your eyes and hold out your hand."
Kaylee did as she was told, her hand extended. Nick leaned in close, his breath hot on her skin. Kaylee's eyes snapped open as she felt Nick's tongue on her hand, licking the sugar off.
"Ew, Nick! That's gross!" Kaylee exclaimed, pulling her hand away.
Nick grinned, unrepentant. "Oh, come on, Kaylee. It's just a game. Don't be such a spoilsport."
Kaylee huffed, crossing her arms. "Fine. But no more licking, okay?"
Nick nodded, his eyes twinkling. "You got it, Kaylee. Now, close your eyes and hold out your hand again."
Kaylee hesitated, then complies. Nick leans in close again, his breath hot on her skin. But this time, instead of licking her hand, he gently brushes his lips against her knuckles.
Kaylee's eyes opened wide, her breath hitching in her throat. Nick smirked, knowing he had gotten to her.
"Nick!" Kaylee gasped, pulling her hand away. "That's not fair!"
Nick chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, come on, Kaylee. It's just a game. Don't be such a prude."
Kaylee rolled her eyes, but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. Maybe babysitting wouldn't be so boring after all.
