Min's Net Cafe: Where the Boldest Barista Gets Lewdly Lavished and Liberated

Chapter One: The Unwanted Advances

The door chimed as it opened, and I didn't need to look up from my computer to know who it was. "Well if it isn't the resident neckbeard," I called out, not bothering to hide my annoyance.

John walked over to the counter, a greasy smirk on his face. "Hey, Min. How's it going?"

I kept my eyes on the screen, not wanting to engage in conversation with him. "I'm busy, John. What do you want?"

He leaned against the counter, his gaze lingering on my chest. "Just wanted to see if you wanted to grab a drink sometime."

I rolled my eyes, not even bothering to respond.

John was a regular customer at my high-end net cafe in the heart of the city, but he was also a major creep. He constantly hit on me, despite my clear lack of interest. I had to be firm with him, or he would never leave me alone.

Just as I was about to tell him to leave, Lily walked in. She was my friend and employee, and she knew how to handle John better than anyone.

"Hey, Ugly," she said, grinning at him. "How's the love life?"

John scowled at her. "Shut up, Four-Eyes. At least I don't need glasses to see how pathetic you are."

Lily stuck her tongue out at him. "Whatever, nerd. Min, do you need me to take over?"

I nodded, grateful for the backup. "Yeah, I need a break from his creepy advances."

Lily handled John with ease, telling him that if he didn't leave me alone, she would have to call the cops. Defeated, John left the cafe, and Lily and I high-fived each other.

"Nice one, Lily," I said, smiling at her.

She grinned back. "No problem. You know I've got your back."

We continued to work, but the cafe soon filled up with more customers. One of them, a handsome stranger, caught my eye. He was tall and muscular, with piercing blue eyes and a confident smile.

He approached the counter, and I felt my heart rate quicken. "Hey, can I get a coffee?" he asked, his voice deep and smooth.

I nodded, trying to play it cool. "Sure thing. Anything else?"

He raised an eyebrow. "You're not like the other customers, are you?"

I laughed, feeling a spark of chemistry between us. "No, I'm not. I'm here for the coffee, not for you."

He grinned, clearly enjoying the banter. "That's too bad. I was hoping to get to know you better."

I blushed, feeling flustered. "Really? Why's that?"

He leaned in closer, his voice low. "Because you're beautiful, and I think we could have some fun together."

I gasped, surprised by his forwardness. But I couldn't deny that I was intrigued. "Fun, huh? What did you have in mind?"

He winked at me. "I'll let you figure that out. Can I take you out for a drink sometime?"

I hesitated, unsure if I should agree. But something about him felt different from John. He was respectful and kind, not pushy or aggressive.

Finally, I nodded. "Sure, why not?"

He grinned, clearly pleased with my answer. "Great. How about tonight?"

I bit my lip, feeling a thrill of excitement. "Okay. Where should we meet?"

He pulled out his phone and gave me his number. "Text me your address, and I'll pick you up at 8."

As he walked away, Lily watched with a smile. "Looks like someone's got a crush."

I blushed, embarrassed but happy. "Shut up, Lily. It's just a drink."

She laughed and walked away, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I couldn't believe I had agreed to go out with a stranger, but something about him felt right. I couldn't wait to see where the night would take us.
