**Chapter 1: The Unexpected Invitation**
I’d only meant to borrow a wrench. A quick trip across the lawn to Dale’s place, a friendly nod, and I’d be back in my garage tinkering with the old Chevy. But when I knocked on the door, it wasn’t Dale who answered. It was Marissa, his wife, standing there in a sheer black nightie that left little to the imagination. The fabric clung to her curves like a second skin, the neckline plunging so low I could see the swell of her breasts daring me to look closer. Her dark hair tumbled over her shoulders, and her lips curled into a smirk that told me she knew exactly what she was doing.
“Dale’s not here,” she purred, leaning against the doorframe, one hip cocked to the side. “He’s off swinging his club on the golf course. But I’m happy to... entertain you, Jake.”
I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry. “I just needed a wrench. Won’t take but a minute.”
Her laugh was low and throaty, dripping with mischief. “Oh, come on, Jake. Don’t play the shy boy with me. I’ve seen the way you look at me when you think I’m not noticing. Why don’t you come in? I’ve got something much better than a wrench to show you.”
I should’ve turned around right then and there. But my feet moved on their own, following her into the cool, dimly lit house. The scent of her perfume—something spicy and intoxicating—hit me like a punch. She led me to the living room, her hips swaying with every step, the nightie riding up just enough to tease a glimpse of her toned thighs. She turned to face me, her eyes glinting with a challenge.
“So, what’s a big, strong man like you doing needing tools on a Saturday morning?” she asked, stepping closer. Her fingers traced the edge of her neckline, pulling it down just a fraction more, revealing the edge of a lacy bra underneath. “You don’t strike me as the type who breaks things. Or are you just looking for an excuse to come over and play?”
I chuckled, trying to keep my cool, but my pulse was racing. “And you don’t strike me as the type to answer the door dressed like that unless you’ve got an agenda, Marissa.”
Her grin widened, sharp and predatory. “Oh, I’ve got an agenda, alright. Question is, are you man enough to keep up?” She stepped even closer, her chest brushing against mine, her breath hot on my neck as she whispered, “Because I don’t play nice, Jake. I play dirty.”
My hands itched to grab her, to pull her against me and see just how dirty she could get. But I held back, matching her smirk with one of my own. “Careful, Marissa. You’re playing with fire, and I’m not the kind to back down from a challenge.”
“Good,” she shot back, her voice a sultry growl. “I like a man who can handle the heat.” Her hand slid down my chest, fingers teasing at the waistband of my jeans. “So, what’s it gonna be? You gonna stand there gawking, or are you gonna show me what you’ve got?”
That was it. The last shred of restraint snapped. I grabbed her by the hips, pulling her flush against me, feeling the heat of her body through that flimsy nightie. Her gasp was sharp, but her eyes burned with triumph. She wasn’t some damsel waiting to be taken—she was a woman who knew exactly what she wanted, and right now, she wanted me. Our lips crashed together, hungry and fierce, her tongue demanding as much as mine. Her hands were everywhere, tugging at my shirt, nails scraping against my skin, and I could feel myself getting hard, the ache building as she ground against me.
“Fuck, Marissa,” I growled against her mouth, my hands sliding down to grip her ass, firm and perfect under my fingers. “You’re gonna regret starting this if you can’t finish it.”
She laughed, breathless and wicked, her hand slipping lower to palm me through my jeans. “Oh, I finish what I start, Jake. Question is, can you keep up when I’m dripping wet and begging for more?”
Her words sent a jolt straight to my cock, and I knew there was no turning back. We stumbled toward the couch, her nightie already halfway off, her skin flushed and glowing with anticipation. She was a storm, wild and untamed, and I was about to dive headfirst into the chaos.
