Nick nervously scanned the crowd of unfamiliar faces, his heart pounding in his chest. He had never been one to enjoy large groups of people, especially when he was the center of attention. But here he was, about to embark on a new journey as a professor at a prestigious university.
His eyes landed on a group of students from his German folklore class, smirking and whispering to each other. He recognized the bold and confident young woman in the center as Sarah, a student known for her sharp wit and direct demeanor.
As the meeting drew to a close, Sarah raised her hand and asked Nick to introduce himself. He gave a brief overview of his teaching experience, trying to hide his nervousness. But Sarah's raised eyebrow and sly smile told him she wasn't satisfied with his answer.
"Is that all you've ever taught, Professor?" she asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Nothing more... interactive?"
Nick was taken aback, but tried to brush off the comment with a joke. "I'll have you know, I've been known to make my lectures on the Brothers Grimm quite lively."
Sarah and her friends exchanged knowing glances, their eyes sparkling with mischief. After the meeting, Sarah approached Nick and asked him to stay after for a "private conference."
Nick hesitantly agreed, his mind racing with possibilities. Sarah led him to a secluded conference room, her hips swaying confidently as she walked.
Once they were alone, Sarah revealed the true reason for their meeting. She and her friends had been blackmailing Nick, threatening to expose a scandal from his past if he didn't do as they said.
Nick was shocked and tried to defend himself, but Sarah cut him off with a playful insult. "Oh, come on, Professor. You can't expect us to believe you've always been a stick in the mud. We know there's more to you than meets the eye."
She told him that he'd be stripping down to his underwear for their next class, and that he'd be doing humiliating tasks at their command. Nick was humiliated and angry, but Sarah assured him that it would be "all in good fun."
"Think of it as a way to connect with your students," she said, her eyes twinkling. "We want to see the real you, Professor. The man behind the stuffy lectures and boring textbooks."
Nick reluctantly agreed, his mind racing with thoughts of fear, anger, and... excitement. As he left the conference room, Sarah called after him. "Don't forget, Professor. Be ready for anything."
