Chapter 1: The Challenge in the Neon Glow
The bar pulsed with raw energy, a haze of neon lights cutting through the smoky air. The scent of cheap beer and lust hung heavy as the crowd roared, their eyes glued to the makeshift ring in the center of the room. Two women, slick with oil, grappled and slid against each other, their toned bodies glistening under the spotlights. Don, a mountain of muscle with a jawline that could cut glass, leaned against the bar, his thick arms crossed over a chest that strained against his tight black tee. Beside him stood Nikki, his girlfriend, a fiery brunette with a lean, athletic build and a glare that could melt steel. Her dark eyes flicked between the ring and Don, sensing the heat of every woman in the room eyeing her man.
'Enjoying the show, big guy?' Nikki teased, her voice sharp as she sipped her whiskey, her gaze cutting to him. 'Or are you just imagining yourself in there, pinning some poor girl down?'
Don chuckled, his deep voice rumbling like thunder. 'Babe, I’ve pinned enough in my day. I’m just here for the entertainment. Besides, I’ve got all the challenge I need right here.' He smirked, his hand brushing against her hip, possessive and teasing.
Nikki arched a brow, swatting his hand away with a playful smirk. 'Keep that up, and I’ll be the one pinning you later. Don’t test me, wrestler boy.'
Their banter was interrupted by a shadow looming over them. Rhonda, the club’s reigning oil wrestling champion, strutted over, her presence commanding the room. She was a busty, muscular blonde, her curves barely contained by a crimson bikini top and shorts, her skin still slick with oil from her last victory. Her blue eyes locked on Don, a predatory grin spreading across her full lips.
'Well, damn,' Rhonda purred, her voice dripping with honey and heat as she leaned against the bar beside Don. 'If it ain’t the finest piece of man-meat I’ve seen all night. You ever think about getting in the ring, sugar? I’d love to feel those muscles up close.'
Nikki’s grip tightened on her glass, her jaw clenching as she stepped forward, her body a barrier between Rhonda and Don. 'He’s taken, blondie. And I don’t share. Why don’t you go find someone else to drool over?'
Rhonda laughed, a throaty sound that sent a shiver down Don’s spine despite himself. She took a long swig of her beer, her eyes never leaving Nikki. 'Oh, sweetheart, I don’t drool. I take what I want. And right now, I want a piece of your man. How about a little wager? You and me, in the oil. Winner gets to take this stud home for the night.'
Don raised a brow, his smirk widening as he looked between the two women. 'Ladies, I’m flattered, but—'
'Shut it, Don,' Nikki snapped, her eyes blazing as she cut him off. 'I’m not some prize to be won, and I’m sure as hell not stepping into that mess just to prove a point. Back off, Rhonda.'
Rhonda’s grin only grew, her gaze sliding to Don as she stepped closer, her hand brushing against his arm. 'Suit yourself, honey. But I don’t need a ring to get what I want.' Before Nikki could react, Rhonda leaned in, her lips crashing against Don’s in a bold, hungry kiss. The bar erupted in cheers, the tension crackling like lightning.
Nikki’s vision went red. She shoved Rhonda back with a force that made the blonde stumble, her whiskey glass shattering on the floor. 'You’ve got some nerve, bitch. Fine. You want a fight? You’ve got one. Let’s see how cocky you are when I’m done with you.'
Rhonda licked her lips, her eyes glinting with excitement. 'Oh, sugar, I’m gonna enjoy this. Let’s get slippery.'
The crowd parted as the two women stormed toward the ring, Nikki’s heart pounding with rage and adrenaline. Don followed, his expression a mix of amusement and concern, but deep down, a primal heat stirred in him. As Nikki stripped down to her tank top and shorts, her body taut and ready, Rhonda’s gaze raked over her with a wicked promise. The oil glistened on their skin, the air thick with anticipation. Nikki’s mind raced, her body already aching for the fight—and for what might come after, whether in victory or defeat. She could feel Don’s eyes on her, burning with a hunger that matched her own. Whatever happened in that ring, one thing was certain: the night was about to get a whole lot hotter.
