The sun filtered through the trees, casting dappled shadows on the secluded garden path. Aniya, the goddess of sins and ruler of Tartarus, sat on a bench, gently rocking a bundle of blankets in her arms. Her tan skin seemed to glow in the soft light, and her curly brown hair tumbled down her back in wild disarray.
Zeus, the king of the gods, happened upon this scene, his curiosity piqued by the presence of a goddess he hadn't seen in over a year. He approached, intrigued by the peaceful sight before him. As he drew near, Aniya looked up, her dark eyes meeting his. A small, knowing smile played on her lips, as if she had been expecting him.
Zeus' eyes were drawn to the bundle in her arms, and he noticed the curly blonde hair and blue eyes peeking out from the blankets. It was Aiden, the child of their one-night stand, a year ago. He took a seat next to Aniya, attempting to hide his surprise.
"I didn't expect to find you here, Aniya," he said, trying to sound casual.
Aniya raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk on her lips. "Oh, I'm sure you didn't. You're not exactly the type to frequent gardens, are you?"
Zeus ignored her jab, focusing on the baby in her arms. "I see you've been busy," he said, gesturing to Aiden.
Aniya nodded, her expression softening. "Yes, I have. I didn't realize I'd be gone for so long."
"Clearly," Zeus replied, trying to keep the accusation out of his voice.
Aniya looked at him, her eyes full of mischief. "I didn't exactly have a choice, you know. I couldn't very well show up pregnant after our little tryst."
Zeus rubbed his temples, the memory of their passionate night still fresh in his mind. "No, I suppose not," he conceded.
Aniya shifted Aiden in her arms, cooing softly to him. "He's a good boy, isn't he?" she asked, looking at Zeus.
Zeus couldn't help but smile at the sight. "Yes, he is," he agreed.
Aniya's expression turned serious. "I didn't come here to fight, Zeus. I came to ask for your help."
Zeus raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh? And what kind of help could you possibly need from me?"
Aniya looked him directly in the eyes. "I need you to take him, Zeus. I can't raise him in Tartarus. He deserves a better life, a life away from the shadows."
Zeus was taken aback. "You want me to raise him?"
Aniya nodded. "Yes. I trust you, Zeus. And I know you'll give him the life he deserves."
Zeus looked at Aiden, then back at Aniya. He saw the determination in her eyes and knew she wouldn't take no for an answer. He sighed, knowing he couldn't deny her request.
"Fine," he said. "I'll raise him. But on one condition."
Aniya raised an eyebrow. "What condition?"
Zeus grinned. "You have to visit him. Often."
Aniya smiled, her eyes shining with gratitude. "Deal."
And so, the unlikely pair made a deal that would change their lives forever. Aiden, the child of a god and a goddess, would grow up in the heart of Olympus, surrounded by the power and magic of the gods. And Aniya, the goddess of sins, would find a new purpose in her visits to Olympus, watching over her son and rediscovering the joy of life in the light.
