Zeus, the king of the gods, happened upon the scene, his curiosity piqued as to why anyone would be in this forgotten place. As he approached, he noticed Aniya and his eyes widened in surprise. He walked towards her, his footsteps silent on the soft grass.
"Aniya," he said, his voice smooth and rich as honey. "What brings you to this secluded garden?"
Aniya smirked, her full lips curling upwards. "A little secret, Zeus," she replied, her voice low and sultry. "Something you might find...interesting." She shifted the blankets slightly, revealing a hint of curly blonde hair and a tiny, perfect ear.
Zeus's eyes widened further as he realized the truth. "By the gods," he whispered, sitting down heavily next to Aniya. "Is it...is it mine?"
Aniya laughed, a sound like wind chimes on a breezy day. "Of course it is, Zeus. Who else could father a child as powerful as this one?" She stroked the baby's cheek gently, and he cooed, his blue eyes fluttering open.
Zeus reached out, hesitant, and touched the baby's tiny hand. "He's...he's beautiful, Aniya," he said, his voice filled with awe. "But why didn't you tell me? Why did you disappear for a year?"
Aniya's smile faded, replaced by a serious expression. "I had my reasons, Zeus. And besides, you were married to Hera. I didn't want to cause any more trouble."
Zeus frowned, but before he could protest, Aniya continued. "Don't worry, Zeus. I can take care of him. I have the power and the resources. He'll be safe with me."
Zeus looked at Aniya, his eyes filled with admiration. "You're stronger than I ever gave you credit for, Aniya," he said, his voice full of respect. "I'm sorry I underestimated you."
Aniya chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Oh, Zeus, you always were a bit slow on the uptake. But that's why I find you so charming."
Zeus rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but grin. "Flatterer," he muttered, but there was no heat in his words.
Aniya leaned back against the bench, her eyes closing in contentment. "I'm glad you're here, Zeus. It's been a long time since I've had anyone to talk to."
Zeus nodded, understanding. "I've missed you too, Aniya. You're one of the few gods who can keep up with me."
Aniya opened her eyes, her gaze meeting Zeus's. "Then let's make a pact, Zeus. Let's promise to always be honest with each other, no matter what."
Zeus nodded, his expression serious. "I agree, Aniya. I promise to always be truthful with you."
Aniya smiled, her eyes shining with happiness. "Good. Then we have a deal, Zeus. And maybe, just maybe, we can have more than just a one-night stand."
Zeus grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "I'd like that, Aniya. I'd like that a lot."
And so, the two gods made a pact, their bond stronger than ever. And as they sat in the garden, watching the baby sleep, they knew that their lives would never be the same again.
