Pink Tresses and Playful Taunts: When Aphrodite's Ex Heats Things Up with Twins (And Brigette Can't Stop Laughing)

Chapter One: A Goddess’ Gossip

The sun beat down upon the lush garden of Brigitte and Apollo’s palace, casting a warm glow on everything it touched. Brigitte, the goddess of hearth and home, reclined on a chaise, her light pink hair shimmering in the sunlight like a delicate rose. She sipped on a goblet of ambrosia, the sweet nectar of the gods, and sighed with contentment.

Beside her, Apollo, the god of the sun and her husband, strummed his lyre, the melodic notes filling the air with a soothing rhythm. His tanned skin glistened with a light sheen of sweat, and his golden hair caught the sunlight, making him look every bit the radiant deity he was.

Brigitte giggled, a sound like tinkling bells, and Apollo looked up from his lyre, a brow raised in question. “You won’t believe what I heard, my love,” she said, her blue eyes sparkling with mischief.

Apollo set his lyre aside and turned to face her, a small smile playing on his lips. “What is it, my dear?”

Brigitte smirked, taking a moment to enjoy the power of the gossip she held. “Aphrodite is pregnant again, and this time, with twins!”

Apollo burst out laughing, his deep baritone echoing through the garden. “And who is the father this time?”

Brigitte grinned, her eyes alight with amusement. “None other than her ex-husband, Hephaestus.”

Apollo shook his head, still chuckling. “How did that happen? Last I heard, they were divorced.”

Brigitte winked, her playful nature shining through. “Well, you know Aphrodite. She can’t resist a challenge.”

Apollo laughed again, his shoulders shaking with mirth. “Only Aphrodite could turn a divorce into a pregnancy.”

Brigitte pouted playfully, her bottom lip jutting out in a mock display of hurt feelings. “Hey, I’m a goddess too, you know.”

Apollo grinned, his eyes softening with affection. “Yes, my love, but you’re the goddess of fun and joy, not love and beauty.”

Brigitte stuck her tongue out at him, her eyes twinkling with amusement. “Fine, I’ll stick to making you laugh then.”

Apollo chuckled, his laughter still present in his voice. “Please do, my dear. It’s one of the many reasons I love you.”

Brigitte beamed, her entire face lighting up with joy. “And you’re one of the many reasons I love you too, my sun god.”

Apollo leaned in, his golden eyes locked on hers. “Shall we retire to our chambers, my love?”

Brigitte grinned, her body already responding to his nearness. “I thought you’d never ask.”

And with that, they rose from their seats, leaving the garden behind as they made their way to their chambers, their laughter and love echoing through the palace halls.
