Alex pushed open the door to the school bathroom with an air of determination. She had a mission, and she was not going to let anything stand in her way. She scanned the row of stalls until she found the one she was looking for - the one farthest from the door, and therefore the most private. With a quick glance around to make sure she was alone, she locked the door behind her and settled onto the toilet seat.
She reached into her bag and pulled out the book she had been trying to finish all day - a juicy romance novel that was guaranteed to keep her entertained for hours. She lost herself in the story, her body relaxing as the minutes ticked by.
But as absorbed as she was in the tale of love and passion, she couldn't ignore the familiar urge to pee that was starting to build. At first, she tried to ignore it, crossing her legs tightly and focusing on the words on the page. But the urge only grew stronger, until she could no longer deny it.
With a sigh of frustration, she stood up and approached the toilet, ready to relieve herself at last. But just as she was about to sit down, she heard the door to the bathroom open.
Alex froze, her heart racing as she heard footsteps approaching. She quickly sat down, hoping to avoid any unwanted attention. But it was too late - the footsteps stopped in front of her stall.
"You've been in here for a while," a voice said. "Are you okay?"
Alex rolled her eyes, annoyed at the interruption. "I'm fine, just busy," she called out, hoping the person would go away.
But the voice didn't go away. Instead, it got closer. "Can I come in? I need to use the toilet too."
Alex's frustration grew. "I'm a little busy right now, can't you wait?" she asked, trying to keep the annoyance out of her voice.
But the voice was insistent. "No, I really need to go. Can you hurry up?"
Alex gritted her teeth, torn between her desire for privacy and her need to pee. She considered pretending to be sick, or even pretending to have left the bathroom already. But she knew that neither of those options would work - the person outside her stall was clearly not going to take no for an answer.
With a sigh of defeat, she stood up and unlocked the stall door, stepping aside to let the other person in. She tried to ignore the flutter of embarrassment in her stomach as the person - a girl, she could see now - brushed past her and took her place on the toilet.
Alex quickly did her business and washed her hands, eager to get out of the bathroom and back to her book. But as she walked back to her classroom, she couldn't help but feel a little annoyed at the interruption. She made a mental note to arrive at the bathroom a little earlier next time, to ensure that she had plenty of time to herself. After all, she was a strong and controlling woman, and she wasn't going to let anyone stand in her way.
