Portal to Passion: Matthew's Misadventure in Sequin Land

**Chapter 1: Unexpected Arrival**

Matthew blinked, the world around him a sudden blur of vibrant colors and exotic scents. One minute, he’d been in his cramped bedroom, fumbling through a late-night gaming session, and the next—poof—he was standing in the middle of a bustling marketplace, the sun beating down on his pale, scrawny frame. Worse, he was in nothing but his tighty whities, the thin fabric clinging to him like a second skin. His cheeks burned as he hunched over, arms crossed over his chest, darting behind a stack of barrels to avoid the curious stares of passersby.

“Great. Just great,” he muttered to himself, peeking out at the crowd. “Teleported to some fantasy land in my freaking underwear. Could this get any worse?”

As if on cue, a melodic voice cut through the chatter of the market. “Hey, you! Behind the barrels! What’re you doing skulking around like that?”

Matthew’s heart stopped. He knew that voice. Slowly, he turned his head, and there she was—Shantae, the half-genie hero of Sequin Land, standing with her hands on her hips, purple hair shimmering in the sunlight. Her piercing eyes locked onto him, a mix of suspicion and amusement dancing in them. She was even more stunning in person, her curves barely contained by her signature red outfit. Matthew’s mouth went dry, and he shrank further behind the barrels.

“I-I’m not skulking!” he stammered, his voice cracking. “I’m just… uh… lost. Yeah, lost!”

Shantae raised an eyebrow, stepping closer. “Lost, huh? In your underwear? That’s a new one. You’re not some creep trying to spy on the market girls, are you?”

“What? No!” Matthew’s face turned beet red. “I swear, I just… appeared here. I don’t even know how! And trust me, I’d rather be anywhere else right now.”

She smirked, crossing her arms under her chest, which only drew his eyes to places he desperately tried not to look. “Well, you’re not exactly blending in, scrawny. What’s your deal? You’re shaking like a leaf.”

Matthew groaned, running a hand through his messy hair. “Can you just… not stare? I’m mortified enough as it is. I’m Matthew, by the way. Not that you care.”

“Shantae,” she replied, her tone softening just a fraction. “And I’ve seen weirder things than a half-naked guy hiding behind barrels. Come on, get up. I’m not gonna bite… unless you give me a reason to.” She winked, and Matthew felt a jolt of heat rush through him despite his embarrassment.

Reluctantly, he stood, keeping his hands strategically placed over his crotch. Shantae’s gaze flicked down for a split second before returning to his face, her smirk widening. “Not much to hide there, huh?” she teased, stepping closer. Her scent—something sweet and spicy—hit him like a wave, making his head spin.

“Hey, that’s not fair!” he shot back, surprising himself with his own boldness. “I didn’t ask to be dropped here like this. And for the record, I’m… uh… cold. Yeah, that’s it.”

Shantae laughed, a rich, throaty sound that made his stomach flip. “Cold? In this heat? Sure, kid. You’re a terrible liar. But I’ll give you points for guts.” She tilted her head, studying him. “Tell you what—stick with me. I’ll help you figure out how you got here. But you owe me. And I don’t take ‘no’ for an answer.”

Matthew swallowed hard, nodding. “Deal. Just… can we find me some pants first?”

“Pants can wait,” she said, her voice dropping to a playful purr as she turned, beckoning him to follow. “Come on, let’s see if you can keep up.”

As they moved through the market, Matthew couldn’t help but notice the sway of her hips, the way her hair bounced with every step. His embarrassment was still there, but something else was stirring too—a growing heat, a curiosity about this bold, beautiful woman who seemed to command every space she entered. By the time they reached a secluded alleyway, away from prying eyes, Shantae turned to him, her eyes glinting with mischief.

“Alright, Matthew,” she said, stepping close enough that he could feel the warmth radiating from her. “Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not some damsel waiting to be saved. If you’re gonna stick with me, you’d better pull your weight. Think you can handle that?”

His breath hitched as her hand brushed his arm, sending a shiver down his spine. “I… I’ll try,” he managed, his voice barely above a whisper.

“Good boy,” she murmured, her lips curling into a wicked smile. She leaned in, her breath hot against his ear. “Because I’ve got a feeling you’re gonna need all the stamina you can muster.”

Matthew’s pulse raced, his body reacting in ways he couldn’t control. The alley seemed to close in around them, the air thick with unspoken tension. He knew something was about to happen—something wild, something he’d never forget. And as Shantae’s hand slid down to his waist, tugging at the waistband of his tighty whities with a teasing grin, he realized he was more than ready to find out just how far this adventure would take him.
