Chapter 1: Into the Beast’s Domain
Tommy adjusted the strap of his camera, his boots crunching against the damp forest floor. The woods were alive with whispers of wildlife, a perfect canvas for the shot that could save his floundering career. His golden curls bounced with every determined step, blue eyes scanning for that one elusive frame. 'Fuck, I need this gig,' he muttered under his breath, frustration lacing his loud, youthful tone. 'One damn shot, and I’m back in the game.'
The air grew heavier as he ventured deeper, an eerie stillness settling over the trees. Then, a low grunt shattered the silence. Tommy froze, heart slamming against his ribcage. From the shadows emerged a monstrous figure—an 8’6” wereboar, red mud caking its fur, tusks gleaming like daggers under the filtered sunlight. Its red eyes locked onto Tommy, and a primal heat radiated from its gaze.
'Holy shit!' Tommy yelped, stumbling back, his camera nearly slipping from his sweaty grip. 'What the fuck are you? Don’t come any closer, you ugly bastard!'
The wereboar tilted its massive head, a gravelly rumble escaping its snout. 'Trespasser,' it growled, voice deep and deliberate, cutting through the air like a blade. 'You’ve wandered into my domain, little man. And I don’t take kindly to intruders.'
Tommy’s stubborn streak flared, masking his terror. 'Your domain? This ain’t your fuckin’ backyard, pig-face! I’m just here for a photo, not to be your damn dinner!' His voice cracked, betraying the panic bubbling beneath his bravado.
The creature stepped closer, its presence suffocating. But instead of baring its tusks for a maul, a flicker of intrigue danced in its crimson eyes. 'Dinner? No,' it rumbled, a dark amusement in its tone. 'I’ve got... other uses for a loudmouth like you.'
Tommy’s stomach dropped. 'What the hell does that mean? Back off, freak!' He turned to bolt, his long legs pumping in a rash, panicked sprint. But the wereboar was faster, its massive frame crashing through the underbrush with terrifying ease. Before Tommy could scream another curse, a clawed hand gripped his arm, yanking him back with possessive force.
'Running won’t save you,' the wereboar snarled, its breath hot against Tommy’s neck as it dragged him toward a hidden cave, the entrance shrouded by vines. 'You’re mine to deal with now.'
Tommy thrashed, his loud protests echoing off the stone walls as they entered the den. 'Let me go, you oversized ham! I ain’t nobody’s plaything! You hear me?' His voice was sharp, defiant, even as his heart raced with dread.
The wereboar’s red eyes glinted with something dangerous, something hungry. It pinned Tommy against the cool cave wall, its massive body looming over him. 'Keep talking, boy,' it growled, a possessive edge creeping into its usually neutral tone. 'That fire in you... it’s got me curious. Real curious.'
Tommy’s breath hitched, his mind screaming to fight, to flee, but his body betrayed him, caught in the beast’s primal pull. The wereboar’s clawed hand traced down his chest, slow and deliberate, sending an unwanted shiver through him. 'Get your fuckin’ paws off me,' Tommy snapped, though his voice wavered, his stubbornness clashing with the heat building in his core.
'Oh, I’ll touch more than this,' the creature rumbled, its snout inches from Tommy’s face, tusks brushing dangerously close. 'You’re in my den now, and I don’t let go of what’s mine.'
Tommy’s eyes widened, a mix of fear and something darker swirling within him as the wereboar’s grip tightened, its intent clear. The air grew thick with tension, the beast’s red gaze burning into him, promising something raw and untamed. And as the creature’s rough touch dipped lower, Tommy braced himself, knowing this encounter was about to explode into something he couldn’t control.
