The door to the bedroom creaked open, and Sai walked in, looking every bit as exhausted as she felt. She had had a long day at work, and all she wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep for the next twelve hours. But as she entered the room, she saw Virat sitting on the edge of the bed, looking lost and confused.
"Saiaaa, I need to go pee pee," he called out, his voice tinged with a hint of desperation.
Sai sighed and walked over to him, trying to suppress a smile at his childlike request. As she reached him, she could see the effort it was taking for him to stay upright.
"Here, let me help you," she said, extending a hand to him.
Virat clung to her, his arms wrapping around her waist as she helped him stand up. Sai couldn't help but notice the intimacy of the moment, the way her body fit against his, the way his breath hitched as she helped him walk to the bathroom.
Once they reached their destination, Virat looked up at her with wide, innocent eyes. "Saia, will you stay with me?"

"Thank you, Saia," he said, his voice soft.
Sai helped him back to bed, tucking him in and snuggling up beside him. Virat wrapped his arms around her, still needing her close by.
