Remote Control Rhapsody

### Chapter One: Toying with Temptation

The bustling corridor of Beacon Academy was a chaotic symphony of voices, footsteps, and the occasional clatter of dropped books. Students darted between classes, their chatter a constant hum in the air, but Ruby Rose had only one target in mind. Her crimson cloak fluttered behind her as she weaved through the crowd with the agility of a predator, her silver eyes glinting with mischief. She spotted her prey near the end of the hall—Weiss Schnee, the pristine heiress of the Schnee Dust Company, walking with her nose slightly upturned, her white hair pulled into a perfect side ponytail, and her uniform immaculate as always.

Ruby grinned, a wicked idea already blooming in her mind. She sped up, her boots tapping a quick rhythm on the tiled floor, until she was right behind Weiss. With a playful tug on the heiress’s sleeve, she spun her around, earning a sharp gasp and a glare that could’ve frozen a Grimm solid.

“Ruby Rose! What in the world do you think you’re doing?” Weiss snapped, her icy blue eyes narrowing as she adjusted her posture, chin tilting up in that haughty way that screamed ‘I’m better than this.’

“Oh, come on, Weissy, don’t be so frosty,” Ruby teased, her voice dripping with mock innocence as she leaned in closer, her grin widening. “I just wanted to catch up with my favorite Ice Queen before class. Is that a crime?”

Weiss huffed, crossing her arms over her chest, her cheeks tingeing the faintest pink at the nickname. “If by ‘catch up’ you mean waste my time, then yes, it’s a crime. I have a lecture to attend, and unlike some people, I take my education seriously.”

Ruby’s eyes sparkled with delight at the jab. She stepped even closer, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. “Oh, I know you take everything seriously, princess. That’s why I’ve got a little... challenge for you. Something to spice up that oh-so-perfect life of yours.”

Weiss arched a brow, her curiosity piqued despite herself. “A challenge? Ruby, I swear, if this is another one of your ridiculous pranks—”

“No prank, I promise!” Ruby interjected, holding up her hands in mock surrender. “Just a game. A very... private game. One that might just melt that icy exterior of yours.” She reached into her pocket, pulling out a small, discreet black box, and dangled it in front of Weiss with a smirk. “Ever heard of a remote-controlled toy?”

Weiss’s eyes widened for a split second before she schooled her expression into one of disdain, though the flush creeping up her neck betrayed her. “Ruby Rose, are you out of your mind? I’m not entertaining whatever depraved nonsense this is. Now, if you’ll excuse me—”

She turned to leave, but Ruby was quicker, sidestepping to block her path. “Oh, come on, Weiss! Where’s your sense of adventure? You’re always so buttoned-up, so proper. Don’t you ever wanna let loose? Feel something... thrilling?” Ruby’s voice was low now, almost a purr, as she leaned in, her breath warm against Weiss’s ear. “I dare you to wear this for the day. Just one day. Let me control it, and I bet you’ll be begging for more by the end of it.”

Weiss froze, her breath hitching despite her best efforts to remain composed. She turned her head slightly, meeting Ruby’s gaze, her own eyes flashing with a mix of irritation and something dangerously close to intrigue. “You’re insufferable,” she hissed, though her voice lacked its usual venom. “Why on Remnant would I agree to something so... so indecent?”

“Because deep down, you’re dying to break that perfect little image of yours,” Ruby shot back, her tone sharp and knowing. “You’re not just the Ice Queen, Weiss. There’s fire in there, and I’m gonna prove it. Or are you too scared to find out?”

Weiss’s jaw clenched, her fingers tightening around the strap of her bag. Ruby had hit a nerve, and they both knew it. The heiress prided herself on control, on perfection, but there was a part of her—a small, rebellious part—that craved the rush of stepping outside her carefully constructed boundaries. And Ruby, damn her, knew exactly how to push that button.

“Fine,” Weiss snapped, her voice low and laced with defiance. “But only because I refuse to let you think I’m afraid of your childish games. And if you so much as breathe a word of this to anyone, Ruby Rose, I’ll have you scrubbing the academy floors with a toothbrush.”

Ruby’s grin was positively feral. “Deal! Oh, this is gonna be fun. Come on, princess, let’s find somewhere a little more... private to get you all set up.”

Before Weiss could protest, Ruby grabbed her hand, pulling her down the corridor and away from the thinning crowd of students. They ducked into a side hallway, Ruby’s eyes scanning for the perfect spot until she spotted an empty classroom at the far end. She pushed the door open with a flourish, gesturing for Weiss to enter like a showman revealing a grand prize.

“After you, Your Highness,” Ruby quipped, bowing dramatically.

Weiss rolled her eyes but stepped inside, her posture still rigid despite the quickening of her pulse. The classroom was dim, the blinds half-drawn, and the faint scent of chalk lingered in the air. Ruby shut the door behind them with a soft click, the sound somehow louder in the sudden silence.

“Alright, let’s get down to business,” Ruby said, her tone shifting to one of playful authority as she set the black box on a nearby desk. She opened it to reveal a sleek, small toy and a tiny remote, her fingers brushing over them with an almost reverent touch. “Don’t worry, I’ll be gentle... at first.”

Weiss shot her a withering look, though the heat in her cheeks was impossible to hide. “If you think for one second I’m letting you anywhere near me with that thing without explicit instructions, you’re delusional.”

“Oh, relax, Weissy,” Ruby drawled, stepping closer with a confidence that made Weiss’s breath catch. “I’ve got this under control. But hey, if you’re so worried, you can tell me exactly how you want it. I’m all ears... and hands.”

Weiss swallowed hard, her gaze flickering between Ruby’s smirking face and the toy on the desk. “You’re enjoying this far too much,” she muttered, but there was no real malice in her tone. Instead, there was a challenge, a spark of anticipation she couldn’t quite suppress.

“And you’re not enjoying it enough... yet,” Ruby countered, her voice a low tease as she picked up the toy, twirling it between her fingers. “Turn around, princess. Let’s see if we can’t warm up that frosty attitude of yours.”

Weiss hesitated for a heartbeat, her mind racing with a thousand reasons why this was a terrible idea. But the weight of Ruby’s gaze, the electric tension crackling between them, and the forbidden thrill of it all pushed her forward. With a huff, she turned, her hands gripping the edge of a desk for support, her voice sharp but trembling ever so slightly. “Don’t make me regret this, Ruby.”

Ruby chuckled, stepping behind her, her presence warm and commanding. “Oh, trust me, Weiss. The only thing you’ll regret is not doing this sooner.”

As Ruby’s hands moved with a surprising gentleness, guiding Weiss with murmured instructions and teasing quips, the air between them thickened with unspoken desire. Every brush of fingertips, every whispered taunt, built a tension that promised to unravel them both. Weiss’s breaths grew shorter, her composure fraying at the edges, while Ruby reveled in her role as the instigator, her playful dominance a perfect foil to Weiss’s reluctant submission.

“See? Not so bad, right?” Ruby murmured, her voice close to Weiss’s ear as she finished adjusting the toy, her fingers lingering just a moment longer than necessary. “Now, let’s see how long you can keep up that perfect little facade with me holding the reins.”

Weiss turned her head just enough to glare at her over her shoulder, though the effect was ruined by the flush on her cheeks and the way her lips parted slightly. “If you abuse that remote even once, Ruby, I’ll make sure you pay for it.”

“Oh, I’m counting on it,” Ruby replied with a wink, slipping the remote into her pocket. “Now, let’s get back to class. Wouldn’t want anyone to suspect the Ice Queen’s got a naughty little secret, would we?”

As they left the classroom, the weight of their shared secret hung heavy between them, a delicious promise of chaos and pleasure yet to come. Ruby’s smirk never wavered, and though Weiss walked with her usual poise, there was a new spark in her eyes—a fire Ruby had ignited, and one she had every intention of fanning into an inferno.
