Chapter 1: Sparks at the Reunion
The high school reunion at Crestwood Hall was a glittering affair, all cheap champagne and nostalgic tunes, but my eyes were locked on Jenna Marlowe from the moment I walked in. She was the girl who’d sat in front of me in calculus, her sharp tongue always quicker than her pencil. Now, she stood by the bar in a red dress that hugged every curve, her dark hair cascading over one shoulder, a smirk playing on her lips as she caught me staring.
'Well, damn, Ryan, didn’t think you’d show up to relive the glory days,' she teased, her voice a sultry purr as I approached. 'Thought you’d be too busy being... what was it? The next big tech bro?'
I grinned, leaning against the bar, close enough to catch the faint scent of her jasmine perfume. 'And I thought you’d be too busy breaking hearts, Jenna. Looks like we’re both wrong.'
Her laugh was sharp, cutting through the hum of the crowd. 'Oh, I still break hearts. Just ask my ex. But you... you’ve got a look in your eye. Hungry. What’s your game tonight?'
'No game,' I shot back, my gaze dipping to her lips, painted a dangerous crimson. 'Just seeing if the smartest girl in class still has a wild side.'
Her eyes narrowed, a challenge sparking in them. 'Wilder than you can handle, Ryan. Bet you still can’t keep up.'
Before I could fire back, two women approached—her sisters, Lila and Mara, both as stunning as Jenna but with their own edge. Lila, the older one, had a cool, commanding presence, her blonde hair pulled tight in a bun, while Mara, the youngest, exuded a playful, dangerous energy, her green eyes glinting with mischief.
'Who’s this, Jen?' Lila asked, her tone appraising as she sized me up. 'Old flame?'
'Hardly,' Jenna scoffed, though her smirk said otherwise. 'Just a classmate who thinks he’s got game.'
Mara chuckled, stepping closer, her hand brushing my arm. 'Oh, I like a man who thinks he can play. Care to test that theory, Ryan?'
The air between us crackled, thick with unspoken promises. I felt the heat rising, my pulse quickening as Jenna’s gaze locked with mine, daring me to make a move. 'How about we take this conversation somewhere... quieter?' I suggested, my voice low, testing the waters.
Jenna raised an eyebrow, her lips curling. 'Think you can handle all three of us, hotshot? We don’t play nice.'
'I’m counting on it,' I replied, my grin matching hers as we moved toward the hotel’s dimly lit corridor, the noise of the reunion fading behind us. My heart pounded, anticipation building as I imagined the night ahead—Jenna’s sharp wit turning to moans, Lila’s commanding presence melting into raw need, Mara’s playful tease becoming desperate hunger.
We reached a suite door, and Jenna pushed it open, her eyes never leaving mine. 'Last chance to back out, Ryan. We’re not gentle.'
I stepped inside, the door clicking shut behind us, the tension ready to snap. 'Good. I don’t want gentle.'
