Chapter 1: Spotlight Seduction
The pulse of Seoul thrummed through the air, a city alive with neon and secrets, as Fabiana Celeste stepped into the exclusive VIP area of the Stray Kids concert. At 22, she was a force of nature—a Black woman who’d built a multi-million-dollar empire in less than a year, her sharp mind wielding degrees in business and digital marketing like weapons. Fluent in seven languages, her voice could command a boardroom or melt a heart with a single sultry whisper. Tonight, though, she wasn’t the CEO. She was just Fabi, a fan, her dark eyes glittering with anticipation as she waited for her favorite K-pop group to take the stage. And, more specifically, for Christopher Bang Chan—her ultimate bias, the man who’d haunted her dreams with his dimpled smirk and raw, magnetic energy.
The arena erupted as Stray Kids emerged, and Fabi’s breath caught. Chan was there, center stage, his presence electric, sweat already gleaming on his brow under the lights. His gaze swept the crowd, then locked on her. Her. In a sea of thousands, those piercing eyes found her, and a slow, knowing grin spread across his face. Fabi’s heart slammed against her ribs, but she didn’t look away. She tilted her chin up, her full lips curving into a challenge. ‘You see me, don’t you?’ her look said. ‘Come get me.’
“Damn, girl, you’re gonna burn a hole through him with that stare,” her friend Mia teased, nudging her. Mia had flown in from Tokyo just to join her for this night. “You think he’s really looking at you?”
“Oh, he is,” Fabi replied, her voice low and confident, a hint of her Portuguese accent curling around the words. “And I’m not here to play shy. If Bang Chan wants a game, I’m the queen of the board.”
Mia laughed, shaking her head. “You’re trouble, Fabi. Pure, sexy trouble.”
The concert roared on, each song a pulse in Fabi’s veins, but it was Chan’s solo performance that set her on fire. His voice, raw and deep, seemed to speak directly to her, every lyric a caress. When he moved, his body was a weapon—sharp, controlled, dripping with intent. And still, his eyes kept finding her, a silent conversation sparking between them. By the final note, Fabi was buzzing, her skin hot, her mind racing with possibilities.
After the show, as the crowd dispersed, a staff member approached her, his expression polite but urgent. “Miss Celeste? Mr. Bang would like to invite you backstage. If you’re interested.”
Fabi’s lips twitched into a smirk. “Oh, I’m more than interested. Lead the way.”
Backstage, the air was thick with the aftermath of performance—sweat, adrenaline, and unspoken promises. Chan stood there, still in his stage outfit, a black tank clinging to his muscled frame, his hair damp and tousled. Up close, he was even more devastating, his dimples flashing as he smiled at her.
“Fabiana, right?” His Australian accent rolled over her name like a touch. “I saw you out there. Couldn’t look away.”
She stepped closer, her heels clicking with purpose, her gaze unflinching. “Good. I didn’t want you to. You’ve got my attention, Chan. Question is, what are you gonna do with it?”
He chuckled, low and dangerous, his eyes darkening. “Bold. I like that. How about I show you exactly what I’m thinking?”
“Talk’s cheap,” she shot back, her voice a purr, her body inches from his. “I’m not here for promises. I want action.”
His hand brushed her arm, a spark igniting where skin met skin, and he leaned in, his breath warm against her ear. “Careful, Fabi. Keep talking like that, and I might just give you everything you’re asking for—right here, right now.”
Her pulse raced, heat pooling low in her core, but she didn’t back down. “Try me,” she whispered, her fingers grazing his chest, feeling the hard planes beneath. “I’m not afraid of a little risk.”
The tension snapped like a taut wire, his hand sliding to her waist, pulling her flush against him. The world narrowed to the heat of his body, the scent of his sweat, the promise of something wild and untamed. Their lips were a heartbeat from crashing together, the air between them charged, ready to explode into something raw and unstoppable…
